Cristina: I don't do "Christmas"

Owen: Come on, it'll be fun

Cristina: Let's just stay home, everyone is going, they're not even gonna see that we're missing

Owen: You're best friend? She'll notice, plus she wants you to be there, she's been out of work for the past 2 weeks, it'll make her happy

Cristina: Okay I'll go

Owen smiled and kissed her forehead

Owen: I gotta go to the hospital, but I'll be back in a couple of hours

Cristina: Okay I'll see you later

She got cereals and sat down on the couch, she took her phone and started debating whether to call her person or not. She finally decided that she'd call.

Meredith: Hello?

Cristina: Hey Mer'

Meredith: Cristina! I haven't seen you in days, where are you?

Cristina: At home, I'm sick, I think I caught your stupid flu when I visited

Meredith: Aw, I'm sorry. Well at least I'm not the only one who's out of work

Cristina: And you're happy about it?

Meredith: Well Cristina, you do deserve to rest sometimes

Cristina: Whatever, rest is for losers. May I remind you that the chief is gonna start picking chief resident soon

Meredith: That's this important to you?

Cristina: Yeah, it isn't for you?

Meredith: Cristina...

Cristina: Yeah sorry Mer', I know I scream too much

Meredith: Yeah you gave me a head ache. Anyways are you coming on Christmas evening?

Cristina: I might, probably, if I'm not sick anymore

Meredith: Okay but please try to come, I'm gonna be all alone in the middle of Lexie, Little Sloan and my father, it isn't gonna be easy.

Cristina: I'll do my best

They talked about stuff, and eventually fell asleep...on the phone. When Owen came back that night he found Cristina still on the couch, he hung up the phone and took her to the room. She woke up

Owen: Good morning

Cristina: What time is it?

Owen: 8pm

She stood up and went to the bathroom to wash her hands

Cristina: I think I'm gonna go to work

Owen: I thought you were sick

Cristina: Well I was but apparently I'm better now, I just needed to sleep

Owen: You're sure?

Cristina: Yes, don't worry about me

She out her arms around his shoulder and kissed him

Cristina: I'm fine, you go to bed I'll see you tomorrow

He kissed her and went to take a shower, she closed the door and ran into Arizona and Callie coming back from the hospital

Callie: Heeyy, how are you? Teddy told me you were sick

Cristina: Yeah, no just a little tired, I just needed some rest. I'm going to the hospital right now
