Xoella's father sat on the edge of his lost daughters' bed. Why did I hit her?, Andrew thought.

This was mainly his fault.

For days after the suicide the distraught father wouldn't leave his daughter's room, for he, like everyone else, blamed himself for Xoella's early death.

How could I do that to my only child, the light of my life?
