[Y/n]
"Come on (Y/n)! Is that all you've got?" Sensei Gilthunder yelled in encouragement as he continuously moved around the large room.
After Sensei Gilthunder saved me from death that day a few years ago, he has been training me to be an assassin, but in secret. Because of my choice to live, my existence has to remain a secret from the Holy Knights and my family. For the past few years, Sakura has been forced to believe that I am dead. I was 10 that day and she was 7, now I am 17 and crying on every birthday I miss of hers because its just another year apart from each other.
I closed my eyes to focus all my energy into the palm of my hands and then flung my eyes open and released all that energy at where Sensei Gilthunder was, but he was gone.
"Wait, what?" I gasped in surprised as I looked behind me and saw Sensei Gilthunder behind me about ready to kick my back, but I dodged his attack and grabbed his extended foot and slammed him to the ground with all my might. Sensei Gilthunder's body created a small crevasse in the ground from the amount of power I used on him.
Sensei Gilthunder chuckled and got up from the ground, a few pieces of broken brick falling off his clothes as he stood up.
"You've really gotten better (Y/n). I think it's time for your first mission." Gilthunder said proudly. I've been waiting for the day I would be able to prove my strength in a mission so I can finally set out to get Sakura back.
"Really?" I gaped as my eyes sparkled in excitement and disbelief.
"Yeah. I want you to kill The Seven Deadly Sins." Sensei Gilthunder said with sinister eyes.
"T-The Seven Deadly S-Sins? B-But that's nearly impossible! Even you can't defeat them!" I argued.
"Are you doubting my methods?" Sensei Gilthunder gave me a disproved look. "Guess you weren't ready after all." He sighed and started to walk to the exit.
I was debating in my mind whether or not to call after him and take the mission. I bit my lip to prevent myself from saying anything but my arm tried to reach out to him. Finally, I let out a long, deep sigh and said, "Fine, I'll do it."
Sensei Gilthunder turned his head and smirked down at me and said, "I knew you'd come around."
"Hey, don't expect me to succeed. But don't expect me to fail either." I crossed my arms and turned away. "So where do I find them anyways?"
"Huh? Oh, that I don't know."
-
"Stupid Sensei Gilthunder. Doesn't even know where I'm suppose to find them." I cursed under my breath as I entered a tavern at the top of a hill to cool down. I took a seat behind a group of guys and happened to over hear their conversation.
"Hey, did you hear about The Seven Deadly Sins?"
"Yeah, aren't they supposed to be dead?"
"Rumor has it that they are still alive."
I stood up and walked over to the table of men who where talking about The Seven Deadly Sins.
"Excuse me, but I just happened to over hear you guys talking about The Seven Deadly Sins and was wondering if you would happen to know anything about them?" I asked and looked at the men with puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah I know a little something about them, they're dead!" One of the men laughed hysterically at my disappointed face as the others joined in and some slammed their wooden cups on the table, causing some of the booze to spill over.
"No, they're not dead! They are too powerful to be taken down so easily! You're wrong you Old Fart!" I scowled at the men, letting my anger take control but also capturing the attention of the young man cleaning a glass cup behind the counter along with a pig.
"Now what's happening here?" The young man appeared behind me, startling me for a second but then regaining my composure again.
"Tell these baboons that The Seven Deadly Sins are still alive!" I snapped and growled lowly at the men.
"Oh yeah? Then tell me, why haven't they caused any trouble in the past years, huh? Well Dolly? That's what I thought." The men laughed as I felt my blood starting to boil but before I could slit their throats or before the young man with blonde hair and emerald eyes could speak, a loud clank of steel armor could be heard and then the door opened revealing a giant figure covered in armor.
"It's one of The Seven Deadly Sins! Run!" Someone in the crowd shouted and everyone ran away in fear, soon emptying out the entire cavern until it was only me, the blonde, and the armored figure.
"Why aren't you running like the others?" The blonde asked and I just shrugged. The armored figure made inaudible noises as I stood up about to get ready for to biggest fight of my life, but then the Sin collapsed, revealing a silver haired girl inside.
"Was not expecting that." I nonchalantly said but the blonde walked up to the girl in the heavy armor and dragged her out.
"Hey! What are you doing? She could be dangerous!" I scolded and flicked the blonde's forehead but he didn't seem to notice or he just didn't care.
"She? Are you sure?" He said and started to feel the silverette's body.
"Hey, you perv! Get your hands off her!" I hissed and backed away in fear of being groped too.
"He's just like that." A small voice said and I looked around for the source.
"What? Who said that?" I continued to look around but still found no one else besides the other people already here, I must be hearing things.
"I'm down here!" The voice said again and I looked down to meet the black tiny eyes of a pig. I shrieked in surprise of a talking pig.
"Oh yeah, that's Hawk and I'm-" The blonde introduced but before he could say his name, he was interrupted by a feminine voice.
"Where am I?" The silverette asked when she came to realize that she was in an unfamiliar area. "Who are you guys?"
Before we could answer any of her questions, there was an inpatient knock at the tavern door.
