Chapter -29.   "His past"

Ridhima's POV....

I was pissed because Mr.kashyap ditched our first date and left with a note..with a single note damn!!!

I red the note again and again but it was no use. It couldn't increased its length.

     Something urgent came up..
 
That was it.. only four words written on this piece of paper. He should have better explanation for this otherwise I would love to punch on his handsome face..

I was sitting on the sofa in the hall with Shikha. We switched on tv and tried to get over this boredom.
But my mind was occupied with the thoughts of Mr.kashyap..

And then a car halted at the entrance and I set my eyes on the entrance.. but on dismay, it was not Mr.kashyap but Rohan..

He came in with his million dollars smile.
How could he manage to smile all the time ?

I smiled back and welcomed him.. he wished Shikha too but something was different..

His gesture was different with Shikha..

"So what's up?" He asked and settled on the opposite couch. He loosened his tie and rolled his sleeves up.

"Nothing..just getting bored" we both said in unison and then bursted into laughter.

It was a girl thing.. boys could never understand..

We chattered and ate our dinner.. somewhat I missed mr.kashyap but where he took his a**..

Rohan asked Shikha for hang out and I was glad that Shikha accepted it. But before that i need to tell Shikha about Nikhil..

She had every right to know the true face of Nikhil. But I saw different bonding between Rohan and Shikha.. I hope it would not ruin this.

"I think it's time to leave" Rohan said and Shikha smiled on his gesture.

"Bye..see you later " with this Shikha left to her room.

"Rohan, I want to talk to you about Shikha" I said in hesitation.

I didn't want to take any risk for Shikha. I just wanted to be sure about whole thing.

He raised his eyebrows and I thought it was the right time to tell about Nikhil.

"Shikha was in a relationship before the incident" I pursued the conversation and he cut me off.

"I know everything and I don't mind that thing..everyone has the past and we can't judge anyone on that and trust me Ridhima, when I saw Shikha first time it was love at first sight" he said and smile appeared on his face.

I took breathe in relief..

"Please take care of her.. and I am trusting you Rohan" I smiled back and he left..

I came back to my room and waited for mr.kashyap. I closed my eyes and put my head on the headrest of the bed. My previous life flashed in my mind and it didn't matter how many times I tried but I never forgot my family.

I picked my phone and dialled my mom' number. After three rings she picked it.

"Hello" after a very long I heard her voice and a lone tear slipped from my eye.

"Ridhi" she took my name with a sob.

"Maa" with this my phone got snatched from my hand and I saw his anger filled eyes.
