My name is Bunny and I am trying to be a superhero. I have dark locks rippling to my waist and browned tan skin to contrast. I have full pink rose lips and bright green cat eyes. I am slender, most superheroes have to be in shape, but I don't work out. I am seventeen and one of seven kids; I am stuck right in the middle. My siblings are Lilly, Faymen, Danny, Zynn, Tritten, and Faith.
Lilly is five with white hair and gorgeous green eyes. With her looks she will most likely become a model. Faymen is seven with a walking disability that puts him at an advantage with a wheel chair he made himself. He is really good with tech and could put any pro to shame. He has adorable blue eyes, brown styled hair and dusted with freckles. Danny, with black hair like mine, stands at 5'5, an impressive stature for a 14 year old. Danny has a ninja complex and dresses up like one when ever he gets the chance, I guess he never grew out of the 'dress up' phase. The twins, Zynn and Tritten, are nineteen with impressive red hair. They are the trouble making duo; they pull pranks where ever they go, well they try to pull pranks. Tritten shows no mercy to his victims while Zynn will apologize before the prank even starts, they're working on it. Finally, Faith is twenty two with brown hair and a mini me for our mother. She is the best big sister you could ever have. She is really supportive, kind and puts others needs before her own.
Now that we have introductions down let's get a few things straight, powers are not normal, superheroes are. Normal families don't have powered kids and I am abnormal but have learned to deal with it. If you have powers, you are a freak unless you are wearing a costume and saving lifes. People, civilians, shouldn't know about your powers like any other superhero thing you would expect, secret identities. Superpowers just happen and they are a rarity, I am rare.
My powers could be described as growing black tentacles out of my body. I can control them like arms. It's a unique power but hard to make the people see that.
My name I go by is Death because of my costume. I wear a black full mask that has cut outs for my eyes and complete by the resemblance of a skull etched in silver for the face. The top the mask is also cut out exposing my hair. I wear a black skin tight suit, to reduce friction and wind resistance, accented with thin silver lines going down on the opposite sides of my torso and then curving to wrap around my waist. More silver lines circle my elbows and knees distinguishing where they are. Extra padding and armor is added to the parts of my body that I use to fight or fall, but it's undeterminable unless I'm beating you with it. I wear gloves so I don't leave finger prints and soft sided boots so I don't make a sound. My hair is always loose because then it's harder for bad guys to get a handle on it, if I let them that close. The bonus about my power is my hair is will disintegrate when it becomes detached, so no one can trace my DNA because they won't have my hair.
I wake up at the sound of my alarm I set before I dosed off. The three sharp beeps signaled me to clock in as a hero. I jetted out of bed and slipped into my costume and looked at the clock, '9:46. Time to go fight evil!' I thought, a little to enthusiasticly.
In all honesty, I love being a hero and using my powers. I just don't appreciate the mockery that comes along with it but I will cope until they appreciate what I do for them.
I grabbed my pre packed black backpack assembled with all types of bombs, two daggers, a tranquilizer gun with nine rounds in the two magazines I had, an electric whip and some throwing stars I stole from Danny. He won't miss them, he has over a thousand. I strapped it firmly to my back making sure it was as close and secure to me as possible. Everything had my signature black and sliver added to it to make sure they know who hit them.
I un lodged the window and sat on the ledge ready to begin another night hunt. I like going during the day but I haven't had enough time with school and everything. I looked down at the 40 story drop and laughed thinking about, how if I had failed and fell, the cleaning guys would have one heck of a scraping job in the morning.
