As Molly sat there in her chair and watched Sherlock she noticed that he had not even remotely taken his eyes off of her. It was as if he was in his mind palace and she was a hard case he was trying to solve. The silence was deafening and finally She decided to speak up. " Euros is not forcing you anymore and I'm no longer in any danger so why would you even care about me anymore?" Molly said Flatly. She had gone through hell and back for him and she admitted to him that it was always true that She loved him. She opened up to him and it wasn't even reciprocated and she felt alone.
"I always cared about you Molly......I......I just don't know how to show it sometimes. It was true....what I said . You telling me to say it first only made it that much more real...... I love you." Sherlock said with a hint of sadness . The tears welling up in his eyes didn't help Molly . She was trying to be strong and yet here he was , breaking her down again like he always did ....but this time he wasn't doing it on purpose . She had broken him down and here he was unshaven and in very rough shape. Surely she wasn't the reason for his moping . "So you have said and yet why do I not believe you?" Molly said quietly as she choked on her words.
"I've hurt you so much ; I understand that now and I just want you to know the truth. I do Love you Molly Hooper and if I've hurt you to the point of you never wanting anything to do with me again ....then I will leave." Sherlock said and then got up to leave.
"Don't......go...." Molly said quietly but quickly. Panic was evident on her face. She gave up trying to be the tough one , she needed him and he obviously needed her . "I've always loved you Sherlock.....always." Was all she managed to say as he looked down at her a soft smile appearing on his face.
"I've known....and I have loved you for just as long" He said and touched her cheek. Though he never admitted it through out all the years he'd known her ....she was his only reason for loving.
