"Ha ha you can't catch me" Amelia's giggling voice calls out. Ji with a smile on his face runs around trying to chase Amelia.

The two run around the green meadow chasing each other as the sun shines happily down on them.

"They really are something aren't they" Amelia's mom chuckles as she eats an orange.

"Mm" agrees Ji's mom smiling at the two children.
It was a hot humid day in July and the two families had brought their kids to play and enjoy themselves at the park.

"Oooow" someone cried out and immediately the two moms rushed over to their kids. When they got their they saw Amelia on the ground with a small cut on her knee.

It was oozing out red liquid and she had tears spilling out of her eyes. Ji was holding her hand and trying to comfort her.

"Is okay is okay Amewa" he cooed as he too had tears in his eyes at Amelia's cut. Amelia too consumed by her cut didn't seem to notice him and instantly reached for her mom.

Ji's mom started to pack up there stuff since Amelia's mom was holding Amelia. She packed everything in the car and the two families started to head home. In the car Amelia and Ji were placed in the backseat in their baby seats.

Ji was holding Amelia's hand and they were laughing like normal again. Outside he had a smile on his face but inside he was feeling horrible. He let Amelia get hurt and he couldn't he do a thing about it. All he could do was cry.

They soon reached home and were going to part there ways. Ji only lived about two blocks away from Amelia. May, Ji's mom said goodbye to Jasmine Amelia's mom and gently took Amelia's arm.

"Everything's going to be ok sweetie the cut will heal" then she reached for Ji's hand heading out the door. Only to her surprise Ji stayed glued to his spot.

"What's wrong Ji" she asked concerned.

"I'm not leaving I wanna stay with Amewa" he said.

With a shocked face she gently smiled. "Honey Amelia needs to rest you guys have been playing all day"

"No" he protested I'm staying.

Chuckling Jasmine looked at Ji then May. "It's okay if he wants to stay I'm sure Amelia will be thrilled".

"Are you sure I don't want to cause you any trouble"

"No not at all it's fine" said Jasmine

"Well ok but call me if he misbehaves and you Ji better behave and treat Amelia nice"

"Ok mom" Ji said smiling knowing he had won the battle.

Ji spent the whole night taking care of Amelia tending to her every need never taking a break. This was normal. Ji always took care of Amelia even for simple things like this, being the friend she needed at all times. He never complained. Being around her was when he was the most happiest.

"Aaah I remember" Amelia said as she clapped her hands in laughter. "Now looking back it was kind of like you were my maid" she said poking Ji in the cheek.

"Ha ha very funny more like you were the clumsiest person on earth back then" he said back. The two were walking together to school. It was two weeks into the new school year and the two were still as close as ever.

Amelia looked at Ji remembering all the happy times they had and wondered how she could have such a great friend. Looking down at her watch she realized they were going to be late if they didn't hurry up.

"Catch me if you can maid" Amelia joked as she started to run toward the school.

"Yes your highness" Ji jokes as he started to run after her.
Two minutes later the two burst through the school gates laughing and coughing.

"Your still as slow as ever" Ji laughed.
"Hey I beat you by this much" Amelia held up her fingers while pretending to be serious. The two entered the school going to their lockers to get their stuff for the day. They had math first period.

"Ughhh why math first it's like whoever made this schedule wanted to torture me" Amelia sighed.

"Ha ha that's why you have me" Ji smirked.

"Yea yea math magician so that defiantly means your doing my math homework right?" she smirked back.

"He-hey I didn't mean that" Ji said as Amelia started to walk off toward their class.
