chapter 4- explanation

Alex's POV

I shifted back into my wolf and started my walk home and soon the boys joined in walking around me with josh next to me ' are you ok Alex' josh spoke through the link we had, all the boys looked at me and I nodded my wolf head as best I could. we reached home and was surprised to see my mother and father out the front looking at me with sad eyes I stopped in front of them and my father say 'go inside and change your mother and I need to talk to you.' I walked past them an upstairs to my room it was a large room with three doors one is a walk in robe and another a bathroom and my bedroom door. I walked into my walk in robe and pulled out a pair of black leggings and a shirt with my vans

I walked in and sat next to josh I looked at my parents 'well would you mind explaining why we got a phone call from the school asking where you were because you didn't show up today?' my father spoke 'well first I saw Mary and ran to the lake and fell asleep I don't know how then we went back to school and I thought I left my backpack and the lake but turned around a saw that Jake y ex had it so the boys got into a fight and I walked away but josh followed with the rest of the boys because it was all too much I shifted and ran so did the boys and then who comes out of the bushes Jake and his mates and we got into a mother fight but I ended it and walked of and came home to find you and mum standing there so yah does that explain why' i explian to her

'well yes but where were you its five o'clock and you just got home' it was my mother this time 'you see that was our fault the first encounter with Mary when she fell asleep she was out for about 2 and 1/2 hours and we went to the log cabin before we went back to school so she could change into something else and yah she took sometime then the things with Jake, we went for that walk for about 3-4 hours and then the fight lasted a good 1/2 hour so yah that's why she's home so late' Ryan spoke.

'um she doesn't have to leave to find her mate now he found her a few years ago when he turned 18 and since today is ales 18th birthday she has found him and he is the alphas son of the faded loyal yes he is here right now talking right now in the flesh I am ales mate' josh says in a proud voice ' well then do you know when you will be taking the alpha role off my hands' my father spoke 'yes sir when Alex is ready to then that is the time oh and what will happen with my pack sir will I have to leave my pack...' he hesitated about what he was going to say next 'or do I need to leave my pack' I interrupted him with a sad look on my face 'well no not always but the law does state that there are only two options with mates that are both alphas number 1 is the female leaves her pack and joins the males pack or number 2 you could join the two packs together and both rule them together so I will leave you alone to talk about it for a few minutes' my father said looking and me and josh then to the boys when they left.

I stated 'I don't want to leave my pack' 'well don't we will combine them and join we will become one and we will say that whoever doesn't like the idea can leave the pack' josh spoke with sure voice' well no they don't have to leave the pack' I stated mad that he would say that 'well yes they will all need to be to board with the idea' 'fine but when will his happen' I say giving in with the idea I wish I didn't because what came out of his mouth made me shocked 'when you're ready to mate and when we are ready to have the responsibility of alpha and Luna' usurped me 'um and what would be the name of the pack would it be mine or your pack name' I say a little unsure of what is going to happen 'well we could take the first word of your pack which is shadow and the first word of mine which is faded and put them together to make the faded shadows pack so what do yam say about that name for a pack name that is going to have about what 4,600 people' he said with excitement clear in his voice

'hang on 4,000 people how many people are in your pack I thought there was only about 500 of use in the faded loyal' I said in a shocked voice 'know after the attack on the terra wolves the smaller packs decided to join together and so they joined in with us so yah we now have 3,200 people in the faded loyal but with your 1,400 people in your pack that will make about 4,600' he spoke with and slight chuckle in his voice. 'Wow that's a lot of people how are we gone keep up with everyone?' I asked curiously 'wellbeing such a big pack I don't know' he said truthfully 'well what if we split them up because there's 4,600 people and there's 7 people and a couple that are like brothers what if we have smaller packs in the big pack so we have sections so Ryan can be pack leader of one section and rick be one for another one so we can break the pack up into smaller areas like factions hey what about that?' I said as an idea of what we could do ' yah so the boys can have a faction each to look after and then we can have a meeting with them once a fortnight or something yah that could work and plus we would have our own area as well so that would be about 570 people per faction' josh says thinking ' yen it would be exactly 575 people per faction' I say working it out in my head

my mum dad and the boys walked in a few minutes later and sat down me and josh explained the idea to them and they looked excited except my dad 'hey dad what's wrong? What's going on?' 'Josh you need to leave my territory now!!' my dad yelled which made me flinch 'dad what's going on? Why does he have two leave? Dad what the fuck is going on!?!?' I yelled at him which made him growl the boys growled at him for threatening me my mum looked at me with horror written on her face 'mum is it what I think it is? Is it happening again? please say no I can't go through that again please mum please 'I say breaking down as soon and josh saw he picked me up and raced out the door the boys followed straight after as soon as josh put me down I ran and shifted I ran and ran but I wouldn't help I jumped in the cool flow of the water but I still thought back to that day
