chapter 8- new life

I enter the living room of the pack house and smile slightly at what I saw. There were people laughing and kids playing with one another. It's been a month since I made to pack official and it has been 3 weeks since I fell pregnant. Yes I am 3 weeks pregnant and I have another 9 weeks until I give berth. I figured to that because one I'm the distain wolf two I'm the last warrior three I'm alpha that they all take a month off my pregnancy but I also thought wrong. during the first week we had a visit from the king a queen who mind you looked identical to me and they had given me a part of a blanket and I had the other half to and we had found out that I am the princess so know I have a palace as my house and my whole pack lives here and its getting bigger and bigger with every pacing day because we take in rouges who wish to have a second chance at life and a new beginning.

 I was cut off my thoughts by someone hugging me I looked down to see a few of the little ones hugging me. I bend down into a crunching position. '' Hello riley, belle, faith, Conner, Justin, harper, body, Travis and of course jasmine.'' I say hugging them all '' good morning alpha says the quadruplets who were jasmine Justin, Conner and riley and then there were the twins who were harper and body and then the siblings belle faith and Travis. They laugh and all dance around me playing I started to laugh but then heard someone crying and so did they their smiles turn to frowns

I walk over to where I heard it from. It was coming from outside. There was a girl with long brown hair which had leaves and twigs in it sitting on the grass. I walk over to her to see a young child from my guess about 2 years old crying in her arms crying. I sit down about a foot away from her and she looks up at me and starts to cry herself. '' What's your name darling,'' I ask her gently wiping the tears away. 

'' my names Emily and this is my little sister Casey, I was beaten at my old pack and couldn't handle it anymore so I ran and I came here because I heard that you took others in and helped them.'' she whispered looking back down to the little child in her arms '' well Emily I'm Alex and I'm the alpha of this pack, how about we get you two inside and cleaned up then we can talk a little more about everything. Ok how about that.'' I say standing up and holding out a hand to her. She takes it and me help her stand up we walk inside and I get curious looks from some people and some people even gasped at the sight of her.

We reach the couch in my study and started to talk about everything and to see if we can find out who did this to her and her sister. '' do you know who did this to you?'' I asked not wanting to seem scary, '' no I don't but my big brother knows, he has to work for him because he is a really strong fighter and tracker'' she cried. '' do you know remember his age and name or where he is at the moment?'' I ask taking out my note book and pen to take down note as I take the looks of her in and try to find any clues about what's happened to her.

'' His name is Liam and he is 17 years old. I think he would be with our step parents after I found out his adopted because his real parents couldn't keep us because they could only have one so they had to keep the eldest I think her name was Alex and she was and alphas daughter. Liam had to take us when I was born they Casey was born with our step parents but our step mother died and then he started to hit us and because Liam wasn't at home anymore he didn't know, then he came and told me to run towards here and not to stop even if I was tired, didn't you say your name is Alex and you look a lot like my brother.'' She yawned out. '' well how about I take you up to my room and give you both a bath and put you both to sleep"

I finished bathing them and put them to bed, I began to walk out the room but am stopped by Casey '' can you stay with us?'' she whispers to me. '' surer darlin' 'I get in the bed and she curls up next to me while I wrap my arm around her. I began to drift off to sleep when the door opens up and I hear foot step come closer to the bed. '' hey come on we have a meeting to attend to, so get up and put some shoes on'' I hear josh say then footsteps back away from the bed and get further away. I slowly get out of bed and slip on some shoes and get to the meeting room and the meeting begins.

'' so there has been in increase with the vampire coven and we need to think of a place for if the attack here'' one of the council members say'' we all agree'' he continues on'' well if your so sure then maybe  you should be king and not me'' i speak up and everyone goes quiet '' i will then so you better release your title'' he says before a knife is thrown into his chest '' she will never step down to any of you but she will to her child that is in her stomach right now. if anyone tries to hurt her or threatens her in any way shape or form then you will answer to me!'' i turn around and am surprised at who i saw standing their.........''it cant be your dead you died in the attack how?'' i whisper astonished that the person is right in front of me who i dug a grave for and buried. '' i,m back sweety and now one cant take me away from you ever again.'' they say and later on continues '' love you little sister'' he says '' love you to big brother''
