On day one. Being level 12 was a huge accomplishment.
It is definitely achievable by going out and training and hunting but I managed to do it by only killing two people.
My new horse made traveling A lot quicker and I managed to make it to the abandoned, drowned trident city ruins in only another couple hours.

Reports reached me a couple weeks ago about giant sea creatures attacking and destroying the city. And even though the city is still dangerous because of the sea monsters. I doubt they will attack if only 1 person inhabits the city.

There were hundreds of people that lived in the city so hopefully with my luck they won't bother me until I'm strong enough to defeat them.

The front gates and wall were un damaged because the monster or monsters attacked from the coat line.
Most buildings were destroyed but there were quite a few that survived the attack.

But the absolute best part of this place was the dead bodies decomposing on the ground... The loot just waiting to be picked!

The place smelled a bit of decay but I believe I can get through it, and eventually I'll clean up the bodies, might have a bonfire..

I first went to the stables to find half eaten horses rotting in the stables. Using rope I stole from the mans house that I killed, I tied the rope from my horse to the dead horses and we dragged the bodies out of the stables that weren't that damaged, but a few holes in the roof. I wonder what creature is that tall to make holes in the roof like that.

Once the stable was clear I tied up my horse and gave it water and hey from the stable.

Half of the guild hall had collapsed but a large part of the huge building was inhabitable so I started exploring there first.
It seemed like the guild leaders quarters was undamaged, all of his belongings still where they were left when the guild evacuated the city.

I cleared out the hallway which had a few dead bodies and I could smell a few more that were trapped underneath the collapsed roof of what looks to me to be the dining area.

I was going to explore the guild hall a little more but I realized that it was getting late so I called it a night in the master bedroom.

-------unknown time later------

Something woke me up.

Some sort of chant, or song maybe?
It was coming form in the building so I equipped my armor and weapons and using my stealth I crept through the building as quiet as I could.

I could feel that my stealth skill was increasing as I practiced the skill.

Finally I made it to the kitchen where I found what was making the noise.

Bloody cannibals!

In the center of the room stood a large fire that lit up the room with a faint red glow.
Over the fire sat a large pot bubbling with water and some sort of meat. It smelled slightly sweet but also rotted at the same time.

That's when I noticed the rotted arm hanging out of the pot.
Well I could have guessed, what else do cannibals eat?
There were quite a few of them. Maybe 6 or 7. And I wasn't liking my chances up against them all.

Each were stationed around the room. All facing the pot, waiting for the stew that made me want to throw up.
I could probably kill 3 from behind before the ones on the other side of the room sees me.
But I'll need a way to make it a more fair fight with the remaining 5.
