__________________ Grace and Simon were supposed to be hanging out, but he remembered about the video he failed to edit the day before. Grace is completely bored out of her mind while he's working.
*Grace's P.O.V*
"Baaaaaaaabe I'm bored!" I exclaimed, over-acting like a five year old child. Simon called me over to hang out this morning and now he's editing instead. I love that he found his passion that lets him dick around for videos and he ends up getting paid for it, but our relationship has been really suffering lately. Even with these problems, I try to be supportive.
"Well you know I need to get this done for later today, I'll be with you in like half an hour, I promise!" He said, the sound of guilt in his voice.
"You said that like half an hour ago" I said, getting off his bed.
"Babe please don't go home" He scoffed.
"Relax, I'm not leaving, I'm gonna go see if JJ's up to anything, maybe he's up for a game of FIFA or something." I replied, leaving Simon's bedroom and venturing through the house to a his roommate's door.
"Hey Jide you up for a game or something? Si is editing and I'm bored out of my mind"
"HEY GRACE! You know what, I've just got the new extension packs delivered for Cards Against Humanity, wanna go a few rounds?"
"Sounds amazing"
*time skip of about two hours of Grace and JJ laughing their ass off at ridiculousness lalala*
"Okay okay my go!" I shout, trying to scream over JJ wheezing at the last round. "Why am I sticky?" I read and we both burst our laughing immediately.
Suddenly, the door Jide's room opened "Babe, you in here?" It was Simon
"I guess it's time to go! Thanks for the game!" I said getting off from the bed and meeting Si at the door.
"Ugh alright. But we gotta do this again sometime" Jide exclaimed holding onto his stomach from the game we've just had.
"Babe, I've got the perfect idea!" Si said as I reached him at the doorway. He grabbed my shoulders and his eyes were full of exciement. "We can go play some football together! How does that sound?"
"Babe, you know I don't play" I said confused.
"Exactly. That's why I'd record it. If people like it, it can become a series of teaching you football tricks and setting you challenges. What do you think?"
At first thought I was hesitant, but I've always wanted to learn a few tricks to look as cool as him with a football. Plus, the fans might as well find out I exist.
"Sounds good to me" I exclaim, giving Simon a huge peck on the lips. We got ready, packed some footballs and our football boots and we set off for the local pitch before it got too dark to film.
We spent the next two hours having the time of our lifes, laughing at my fails. He was trying to teach me keep ups with the ball. Next we took turns at penalties. Being the goalie was much simpler than trying to score. I guess I have decent reflexes. All my fails and glorious victories were recorded on two different angles for the world to enjoy the next day. Simon titled the video "THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER!", the thumbnail being me mid-slip and about to fall. The fans absolutely loved it and desired a sequel ASAP! More importantly, they were really happy for us, which is a relief.
After a while this series became a monthly regular instalment on Minty's channel!
AN: I feel like that's not what you asked for, so I'm sorry if it's not what you've expected, but I feel like if I wrote like 'Me and Si kicked a ball around' for the intire fic then I wouldn't know how to make it super dooper interesting. It felt really repetetive for me. Anyway, thanks nevertheless for requestig stuff cause it shows somebody actually likes this crap, and I love to write it. It helps me develop English, cause it's my second language btw.
