Today was the day Ella was going to have another date with Vikk. They technically weren't boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but it wasn't their first date either. They just really enjoyed each other's company. Every time Ella was getting ready, she would have the same butterflies just like the first time she met him. She got ready in her favourite outfit and waited eagerly for the doorbell.
*Ella's P.O.V*
The doorbell rang. Finally! Although he was punctual like always, it still felt like an eternity waiting for him. I opened the door to a grinning cupcake holding a bouquet of my favourite flowers.
"Wow you look beautiful" He said, looking at my outfit. I couldn't help but blush. He passed me the pretty bouquet.
"Thank you. And thanks for these! Let me put them in some water and we'll be off!"

After a good two and a half hours of walking around exploring the area and the nearby parks, I was getting kind of hungry and tired. "It's getting to lunchtime Vikk" I pointed out feeling my stomach grumble.
"You hungry? Where do you wanna go?"
"I was about to say 'I have no idea', but out of the corner of my eye I saw my favourite 'M' - the McDonald's sign.
"Wanna go in for a vanilla milkshake? I know that's your favourite" He asked as he noticed I was staring at that building.
"Duh" I said, practically pulling him across the road.
Me and Vikk shared a milkshake but I'm kinda too hungry still. "You go for fries, I'll settle on some dessert then" Vikk smiled at me.
"Sounds good." I replied. He got up and went to order for the both of us.
He came back with Oreo ice cream and large fries. One of my more different, some would say even weird favourite combination of flavours is the mix of the two of them. Without much though or hesitation I dipped my fry into his ice cream, totally forgetting I was on a date, and that was his ice cream.
"Ugh sorry. Weird habit" I say as I scream internally at the awkward mistake. "It weirdly does taste amazing though."
"It's fine, really. I'm going to have to get used to this"
"Really, why?"
"Because I want to ask you, Ella, will you be my girlfriend?"
"I'd absolutely love to Vik!"
