"This wine is delicious," Nancy told you as she poured you a glass. She handed it over and whispered with her hand beside her mouth, "And it'll get you fucked up too."
"Ooh, I'm liking you more and more each time I see you, kid," you snickered and sipped your drink. Your eyes got big a bit before you brought the glass closer to your nose to sniff it.
"This stuff is pretty good," you said to her.
"I know, right?" Nancy said and poured herself a cup. "This is actually one of Roma's favorites."
You sipped from the cup again. "I'm not used to sweet tasting alcohol. I usually just stick with simple shots of Henne, but Roma always had such refined tastes, so it makes sense he'd be like a wine connoisseur or something."
Nancy beckoned you as she started to leaved the kitchen. "Come on. Have a seat in the dinning room with me, and let's talk."
"Of course," you said and walked behind her.
You elbowed her arm with a smirk on your face after catching up with her and said, "I want to try and get some stories out of you before my brother gets back. I need to know how you two ended up together. I just can't see him trying to date a girl so much younger than him."
Nancy giggled a bit as she sat down at the rectangular wooden table and placed the bottle on the table top. "Well, I was the one who kind of came at him."
You nodded and sat next to her as you took another drink from your glass. "You seem like the type who'd make the first move like that. I mean, Roma's one of the shiest boys I know when it comes to girls. So, where'd you meet him?"
She smiled and held her face in her hand as she thought back. "Well, at the time I was working at this coffee shop, and Roma always came in the morning. He'd sit at the tables with his coffee and would be doing work on his laptop. One day, I just decided I'd go talk to him, and I asked him out. He thought I was kidding at first."
You laughed. "I bet!"
"He took me seriously after I wouldn't leave him alone, though," she chuckled. "I could tell he felt a little weird when we really started dating, but I didn't let that discourage me, and we worked through it. I really fell in love with him, ya know, so I'm just glad he could look past my age."
You covered your mouth. "Aww! You are just too cute!"
She blushed and looked down toward the table. "T-thanks. I guess."
"So, when's the wedding?"
"Oh, uh. I'm not too sure. He hasn't technically proposed to me yet or anything."
"Really? How long have you two been together?"
She scratched behind her head and laughed a bit. "Going on three years soon."
"Three years?" you shouted. "The hell is he waiting on?"
She waved her hands around and shook her head as she said to you, "I-it's fine, really. I don't mind. I mean, I live here with him, so I guess it's kind of already like we're married."
She drifted her eyes to her drink. "But it would be nice to get to say officially that I'm his wife."
"I know! And I'm sure a girl like you probably has some idea for a dream wedding or something like that."
She smiled and brought her glass closer to her. "Well, yeah."
"Tell me about it! Tell me about it!" you urged her and giggled.
"I was planning on having a backyard wedding at my grandma's house. Her place is pretty big. All of my cousins and I always hung out there. Two of them already had their weddings there, so we'd talk about making it like a tradition or something for us girls. I always wanted my wedding to be sometime in the early spring too. I even know the perfect little boutique where I want to get my dress from."
