Hearing those words from his mouth made her want to hit him but the way his lips moved captivated her as well then an angry expression crossed her face and made her body tremble.

Nico. I know you have lots of questions

She could see Lorenzo behind Nico looking at her too and suddenly she could see sorrow in his eyes.

Nico. You have my word that no harm will come to you Amora

Amora. I could care less about your word! Nico or "the boss" whatever you call yourself I want to go home

Nico. I understand, and you will soon as soon as Arturo pays us a visit

Amora. What do you want with my brother?

Nico. Its better you don't know

Amora. You kidnap me and now I don't even get to know why?

She was too weak to try to raise her voice at him.

Nico. Soon you can go home and forget, why aren't you eating ?

She glanced at the food on the table.

Amora. I hate sandwiches
She said sarcastically and crossed her arms.

Although she took a second glance at the table and she knew Nico and Lorenzo could see it.

Nico. You should keep your strength up I'm not sure how Arturo and Cher will feel if they saw you like this

She suddenly stopped in her tracks and she crossed her arms and scolded him.

Amora. Don't come in here acting like you care about my wellbeing

A look crossed Nico's face it was an alarming expression, he had never had to deal with such defiance and suddenly he felt something strong inside of her, that she was a fighter.

Nico smirked and walked out with Lorenzo. They walked back up to his office where he gave Lorenzo his tasks.

Nico. Please find Lisa and tell her about our financial situation with our fallen friends and can you find Vana and tell her to take out 200 dollars and buy Amora some clothes.

Lorenzo. Im sorry did you say clothes?

Nico. Yes, tell her I said please and thank you

Lorenzo nodded and left the office. Nico stood over his desk his palms down on the table he was thinking and he was thinking about Amora.

Her defiance only intrigued Nico and although he hated being challenged he liked the feeling it gave him when it came from her. The was she carried herself knowing she was in pain but still standing strong, he admired that about her. He smirked lightly at the plans he had for her. Its not like the syndicate goes around kidnapping innocent people left and right but he felt that she out to feel at home and as safe and protected as she possibly could and even if it took all the strength and patience in his body he was going to show her that he could be trusted and she would be safe.

It took a few hours but eventually Vana came back and handed Lorenzo a bag of womens clothes everything that she felt Amora would need. Lorenzo knocked on her door and she was now slouching in the corner barley able to stand up straight.

Lorenzo. Be ready in 20 minutes

He put the bag on the table and walked out without another word. He couldn't even look at her again before leaving because he felt so terrible about what she was doing to herself.

She took the bag off the table and looked at it. Then she looked in the mirror in the bathroom and realized she could use some new clothes. But she also realized how uncomfortable she would be trying to take a shower knowing Mylon might be standing right on the other side of the door. So she quickly washed up and changed. As soon as she came out of the bathroom there was a soft knock on the door, then in came Lorenzo.

Lorenzo. Are you ready?

Amora. Ready for what?

Completely avoiding her question he revealed the handcuffs behind his back.

Lorenzo. I was ordered to put these on you, but I don't want to, if you promise to behave and walk out of here with me without trying to escape then I won't have to use them, can you promise me that?

Amora nodded and Lorenzo escorted her out of the room. They passed by many rooms after they got up the steps she could see people on computers, big vaults, it made her even more curious as to who she was up against. Then they stopped at a big red door.

Lorenzo. I'm sorry but I have to put this over your head

Amora. What? Why? I've been good

Lorenzo. He just doesn't want you to see whats behind it yet

He gently put the black cover over her and guided her out through the big door. There was so much commotion she couldn't tell what exactly she was hearing. Then she heard another door open and she felt a cool breeze on her skin. They were heading out of the building. Lorenzo lifted the black cover and could see she was standing on the sidewalk. Then she saw a car waiting for them but, Mylon was in the front seat.

Lorenzo. Don't worry that is why I'm coming with you

She nodded. She suddenly felt as if she could trust him but she was careful not to get to comfortable after all, he did help kidnap her.

The car ride was long and quiet. Mylon drove and Lorenzo sat in the back with Amora. After almost dozing off they finally pulled up to this massive house, it was almost, mansion like. Lorenzo got out and opened the door for her and walked her inside while she looked around. When she got into the elevator Lorenzo stood on the other side of the door.

Amora. You're not coming?
Lorenzo. I'll be here when you get back
He winked and the elevator doors closed.
