Almost two years ago I began writing Sacrifice. If you read the book, you know an important part of the story takes place in Venice on Shove Tuesday. During Carnevale de Venezia people dress up in elaborate costumes and parade about in St. Mark's Square. Since I was young, I've dreamed of seeing the celebration in person. This year my dream will come true! I will be among the many thousands who celebrate the holiday in Venice!
