Rhea took her time to decide the dress for work; she wanted to look her best for Shad. This is the first time she is making an effort to look good for a man. She took a long head bath and searched through her wardrobe for a perfect dress. Finally, she zeroed on a beautiful cap sleeved lavender and black printed short Kurthi and lavender churidar. She blow-dried her hair and tied her hair in a loose braid and placed it on one side of her shoulder. She applied face powder, lip gloss, black kohl, perfume. She wore an elegant wristwatch in one hand and a small silver bracelet in the other. She slipped into a white thong slippers and took her doctor coat, stethoscope and other work related things in a small bag and flung it over her shoulder.

'Someone is looking killer' Shruti winked at Rhea, and she blushed. She poured herself a bowl of milk and cornflakes.

'Rhea, this is good, but I think you should get something smart. Something modern. Guys really like that' Shruti said

Rhea simply nodded.

*************

Rhea parked her scooty, as she climbed down she saw a white Mercedes coming into the parking lot. The car parked few cars ahead of her. Rhea removed her helmet and looked on. Shad and Eifad climbed down from the back seat. As she looked at Eifad, Shruti's words echoed in her ear. Eifad is looking really classy dressed in a white chiffon shirt and grey trousers with a thin black belt around the waist. She has matched the attire with grey stilettos. Her shoulder length hair is straight and open. Dark red lip gloss adorned her plump lips. Shad is talking something to her; she is just listening. Together they walk towards the hospital. Rhea kept looking at Eifad; she has a perfect hour glass shape. She watched her and Shad disappearing inside the hospital. Rhea looked at her own attire; she looked like total behenji. Perhaps, Saima, her friend back in Lucknow was right about changing her attire.

***************

Shad is working in his cabin; he glanced at his watch. It's 11 am; it's time for his rounds. Luckily there isn't any emergency case. He placed his stethoscope around his neck and stood up.

He entered the ward, and his gaze landed on Rhea. She is busy attending Mrs. Desai.

This time, unlike last time, she is speaking with a smile to her patients. Shad is glad she took his advice. He felt important.

He walked up to her 'Good morning' he greeted her. Rhea turned around, and her gaze met his. She smiled at him and quickly looked away. Shad frowned.

In the next one hour, Shad noticed Rhea had been avoiding him. He wondered why? But then he shrugged it off thinking she must be busy with work. At lunch, Shad busied Imran with Mr. Khanna and took this chance to ask Rhea for lunch.

'I am little bus...'Rhea stopped mid-sentence as Shad her hand. She felt electric jolt run through her veins. It happens everything Shad touched her. Rhea had never felt this way before. She looked into his eyes and couldn't refuse. She nodded. Shad smiled brightly. Together Shad and Rhea made their way to the Hospital's Café.

'Here Maam!' Mr. Saxena forwarded a plate full of pasta to Eifad. She asked him to place it on the table; she is working on her laptop. Once Mr. Saxena left Eifad leaned in her chair and switched on her CCTV. She straightened on seeing Shad and Rhea enter Café together. They seem to be talking perhaps discussing work. Eifad shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She leaned forward and grabbed her landline

'Mr. Saxena, come in ASAP' she said and slammed the phone. Mr. Saxena, who had just opened his tiffin to have his lunch, groaned.

Rhea sat in her seat and watched Shad as he stood at the counter getting their order, his back to her. She leaned forward placing her elbow on the table, she placed her chin on her palm and continued to look at him lovingly. When he turned around, she quickly looked away blushing.

'Here' he placed a plate full of rice and potato vegetable to her side. She muttered a thank you looking at her plate. Shad is confused. Why is she behaving this way? Last night she was fine when she was chatting with him. He extended his hand and placed it over hers. Rhea shivered and looked at him.

'Is something bothering you?' Shad asked, concerned. She shook her head and flashed a smile. Shad relaxed little

'Okay, then Bon appetite' he said and smiled. Rhea sighed happily.

'Dr. Rhea...?' Rhea looked up, a nurse stood beside her. Rhea got worried for few seconds wondering if her patient is alright. The nurse informed her that Dr. Singhaniya is calling for her.

'I will come with you' Shad said standing up too, but Rhea stopped him. She insisted she will handle this and left with the nurse

'He is in ward 113' Nurse said once they exited the café.

************

'Dr. Singhaniya?' Rhea knocked the door. There is no response. She knocked again, and this time the door opened. She frowned and entered in. The room is dark. She had second thoughts of going in. What is Dr. Singhaniya doing in a dark room? She then decided to check, she is an intern and doesn't want to disrespect her seniors. He has called her, and she felt important that he considered her for whatever work he has.

'Sir?' Rhea entered in cautiously. She looked around for the light switch. Suddenly, the door closed behind her, and she jumped. She turned around and hurried to the door

'Who is there?' she called.

She twisted the door knob, and to her utter shock, she realized the door is locked from outside.

Eifad smirked watching Rhea getting locked in the room. After she had seen Rhea with Shad in the café, she had called up Saxena and asked a nurse to get Rhea to this abandoned ward and lock her in. Eifad leaned in her chair, her fingers entwined. She observed Rhea. Rhea is banging the door and calling someone for help. Eifad shook her head and switched off her camera. She rested her head on the back of the seat and stared up at the ceiling, her smirk widened

***********

'Hello! Is anyone there. Please help' Rhea called for help, but there is no response. She is panicking now. She shouldn't have come here, the ward and the corridor was deserted; it should have alarmed her. It is obviously a trap, but who could have done this to her. She held the doorknob and pulled hard hoping it opened, but her attempts waste. She banged the door again. A few minutes later, she realized it would be waste attempt opening or breaking the door. She turned and looked around, looking for a way out. She is relieved when she found a window. She hurried there, on the way her knee hit the edge of the bed and she winced loudly. She massaged her knee and limped towards the window. She tried opening the window, but it seemed jammed. The ward looked like it was not in use since ages. Rhea could see cobwebs; she panicked seeing a spider. She took a step back, and her legs hit a bed, and she sat on it with a thud.

Rhea closed her eyes, she wiped the sweat beads from her forehead and took a deep breath. As she closed her eyes, an image of her father's face appeared in front of her.

'You are my strong, Bacha!' the image said. Rhea felt slightly better; she felt slightly stronger. She has to stay long. She took out her phone and is disappointed when she noticed there is no network here.
