"Hurry! Don't drag me down with you being a slowpoke. You know I hate being late in going to school." Timmy said while shoving his hands to his pocket, waiting for someone outside. He said it for the 5th time and is now really annoyed.
"Coming! Just wait for another minute! and besides, it's still early!" Danna replied while rushing to get her notebooks who she forgot to put in her bag last night after she studied. She, then, hurriedly went outside to wear her school shoes. "There" she said to herself. "I'm ready!" She exclaimed, raising her hands up forming a V.
"tch!" Timmy just clicked his tongue and started walking, leaving Danna behind because he's annoyed.
Danna pouted and is throwing invisible punches behind Timmy's back when Timmy turned to face her. She immediately darted her fist else where while Timmy shot her a confused look.
"You coming or what?" timmy stated.
"Yeah, I'm just.... umm..... catching mosquitoes around! You know. It's irritating when they bite. he he he" Danna said Smiling. REALLY? MOSQUITO? YOU'RE SO LAME! she cursed herself for being stupid.
Timmy just gave her What-The-Fuck-Are-You-Saying? look raising one of his eyebrows then change it into Hurry-Up-Or-We'll-Be-Late-And-If-That-Happens-You'll-Be-Dead-Meat.
"Alright! Alright I'm Coming!" Danna said while running towards Timmy's side still murmuring some curse for his attitude.
They walk together to their school. Timmy and Danna is in their third year but Danna is a Transferee. It's her first day in college at the Johnson University, Of Course she wants to start fresh! and Timmy's not helping. Timmy and Danna are cousins. Not really cousins-cousins since Timmy is adopted. Danna lives countryside with her Dad while Timmy's family lives in the city. Danna has to be in the city in order to study because her parents want her to go to a prestigious and famous school for work purposes in the future. Her parents wants to rent a fully furnished apartment for her but she doesn't want to be alone in a big apartment that's why she forced herself in living with her aunt, which is Timmy's mother. Her aunt is not the problem. In fact, her aunt is very kind, caring, generous and lively whenever she visits them, very opposite to her son's attitude. She hates Timmy for being so cold with her but she's doing the best she can to befriend him for her aunt's sake.
The distance between their house to their school is 200 meters. When they are only a hundred meters to their school, Timmy stopped walking which cause her to stop too.
Danna's POV (Danna Marie G. Lynch)
"Why did you stop? I thought you don't wanna be late." Isaid teasing my cousin. He faced me. I thought I saw him with apologetic look but on the second thought it isn't, instead it was more of an annoyed look. He sighed and started talking.
"See that light post?" He said while pointing at the light post just ahead us.
"Uh-huh."
"That will be our 100 meter line."
"Uhhhh-huh?" I said raising my brows waiting for him to explain more.
"Every time we'll go to school, we will stop there and let one of us go to school first. I don't want to be seen going to school with anyone and that goes with you too. and please, don't spread the fact that we are cousins. I hate it." Uh! the nerve of this adopted boy! it's as if I like it. FYI, I hate it too you dumbass! I can't help to curse him inside my head. but I won't voice it out, I promised I'll be patient. Calm yourself Danna, calm yourself.
"If you don't want to be seen with me, then why bother waiting for me outside the house?"
"Are you even thinking? We need to leave the house together or else my mom will ask tons of questions. you know how we act in front of her." He said as if not bothered by our situation whenever we're in front of his mom. Aish! this two-faced bicth!
