Gabriella paused from cutting his throat.

Conall took to opportunity to kick her off him and run. He vanished in the shadows of the trees. Gabriella snapped back to her senses. She stomped her foot on the ground.

"Why couldn't I kill him?!" She exclaimed, rage filling her eyes. Why didn't she just hit the bastard? One swift move would've killed him quicker than lightning.

She heard Silver groan behind her. Great. He was bound to smell Conall and freak out about his brother being a traitor and all that crap. Gabriella looked down and stared at her sword. Blood dripped from its tip. She sighed and made the sword vanish.

"Gabriella? What happened?" Silver grumbled. "I'm sure you can smell the new yet familiar scent, Silver. So you should get the picture." Gabriella said. Silver raised his eyebrow and sniffed the air then stared at her, a bit shocked. "That scent, i-it's Conall. Isn't it?" Silver stared at her. Gabriella simply nodded.

"But that's impossible. We left him in that hell hole a long time ago while it was still hot." Silver said. "Well, he's still alive. And he's working for the enemy." Gabriela said.

"So? Who cares about the enemy anyways now? He or she is probably scared half to death about attacking us again because of our magic." Silver growled. Gabriella kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying towards a tree.

"First off, if it wasn't for me, you all would be dead." Gabriella said. "And second off, the enemy, who ever it is, is never gonna leave us alone." She added. "How do you know that?" Silver asked as he spat out a bit of blood.

"Because I know where the enemy is hiding now."
