Falling for the popular girl

Something new

Since it was the weekend, i had no lectures and neither did MJ so I took it upon myself to talk to her about what happened last night. 

I know what your all thinking and no, I don't think she feels the same as i do, because if she did she would have kissed me back right? 

"Hey MJ, we need to talk desperately about last night, can we talk?", i asked impatiently

She slowly replied, " Sorry Cat, I haven't got anything to say to you", as she slowly walked away from me. 

Great, I think I've just lost the one person I ever truly cared about before. 

I slowly walked to my room, ready to bury my head into a textbook, when i heard a knock on my door. 

"Come in", I mumbled quietly not quite paying attention. 

"Hey Cat, you were right, we really do need to talk, It's eating me up inside", she spoke firmly. 

I still couldn't take my eyes off her, even if I tried, she was so mesmerizing. 

"I'm Sorry i made you develop feelings for me, that shouldn't have happened", her voice broke out in a whisper.

"So do you feel the same?", i asked anticipating her answer. 

"Of course I do, but we can't be together, I don't wanna love anyone", she spoke slightly hesitant. 

At that moment I felt my world collapse, the girl I love, does not wanna love me?

"I'm sorry again Cat", she said as she pulled me into a warm hug, I clung onto her not wanting to let go, but She had already let go of me. 

We didn't talk at all after our brief conversation, but i still can't stop thinking about everything.
