It has been a month since the royal wedding. Soo Yeon sat on the veranda still feeling moody whenever the memory flashes back to her mind.

Jo sitting on top of a horse with a King's outfit as he waved happily to his citizens...

The door slided open from behind and Mr Oh wanted to come out of the room to wash his medical supplies but only to be blocked by Soo Yeon.

"Ya you unfilial child! Are you still pondering about him? Forget it, move on! He has his own luxurious life!" He nagged as Soo Yeon was disrupting him from work.

However, Soo Yeon does not respond to her father. She slowly lifted her hands up to the golden ring which she had made it into a necklace and sighed.

"Why is my life so miserable?" She said as tears formed in her eyes.

"Aigoo...my poor child... What's meant to be yours would be yours. Stop dwelling over that man. There are lots of men out there who can give you a good life too!"

Mr Oh was already out of advices. The day he found out that the two mysterious men was actually the King and his right hand man, he knew not to be involved any further.

Who knew if the King may accused them for doing something unacceptable?

"It's best that you return that ring to him as soon as possible. If you are unsure, I have a friend who works as a deliveryman for the palace. I can arrange a time for you to pass that thing to him."

Soo Yeon's body trembled in rage at the sound of her father's idea. How could he even suggest in returning the golden ring when it was the only object that could link her to Jo?

"No! You don't know anything Father!" Soo Yeon stood up abruptly and ran out of the house.

"You unfilial child! You better don't come back later!" Her father scolded at the disrespectful action of his daughter.

Soo Yeon kept running across the town until she reached to a mini bridge with a stream flowing underneath. She looked down towards the stream as her broken heart gave her the most craziest idea.

If only I vanished away from this world, I don't have to feel anymore pain.

She leaned over her body towards the bridge and lifted up one of her legs. She squeezes her eyes shut and got ready for the impact of pain but also relief.

What she wished for didn't fulfill but instead, a pair of strong arms pulled her back in to the safety zone and the voice exclaimed in shock, "It's too dangerous for you to do that!"

Both of them dropped to the ground with Soo Yeon on top of the stranger. Feeling an urge of anger rising in her, she turned to the stranger and shouted.

"Why did you have to save me?!"

She turned to face a young man, roughly older than her by three years. The man was shock by her reaction because he thought he saved a life.

"T-that's dangerous! To lean over the bridge! What if you fall to your death?" The young man shouted back as he pointed.

"That was my plan!" Soo Yeon stood up in an aggressive manner and was about to stomp off when she stepped on to a piece of paper on the ground.

She then finally realised there were pieces of paper lying around them in a messy state and she wondered the hell went wrong.

She picked the one that she stood on and a beautiful drawing of a landscape was painted on the paper. She was immediately mesmerized by the drawings.

However, the young man sure was unhappy to see all of his hard work being scattered around like that.

"Ah my paintings!!" He cried as he quickly bended down to gather all of it.

"Here." Soo Yeon passes the one on her hands to the man. "You're an artist?"

"Oh, thank you!!" The man took the paper from Soo Yeon and quickly slotted it in to his sketchbook.

"And yes, I'm an artist. I wish to paint all of the beautiful sceneries across the world so that in the future, people would travel to my gallery just to view my drawings." The man proudly announced as he smiled happily at his sketchbook.

Soo Yeon couldn't help but smiled at the ambitions of the young man. She thought that she wanted to be friends with this man as soon as possible.

"My name is Soo Yeon. You?" She introduced.

"Nice to meet you Soo Yeon, my name is Jong Suk." The man reaches his hands out to shake her hands.

Soo Yeon's eyes grew wide as she had never held a man's hands before, excluding her patients in the clinic.

The man turned flustered quickly and drew back his hands. "S-sorry!! I didn't mean to offend you!" He was quick to apologize.

"N-no... It's okay... Um... Would you like to have tea with me? I would like to thank you for saving my life earlier on... I guess I was reckless..." Soo Yeon asked shyly as she combs her hair neatly.

"Ah... S-sure..." The man was shy as well as it was the first time a girl has asked him out to a date.

Soo Yeon and Jong Suk went over to Soo Yeon's favorite tea house in town as they sneak glances towards one another from time to time on the way.

"Their wolfberry mix chrysanthemum tea is delicious!" Soo Yeon took the pot and poured into the cup. She then passes the cup to Jong Suk.

"You seemed to have a skill for pouring tea. Did you attend classes?" Jong Suk questioned as he watches Soo Yeon's elegant hands in handling the pot.

"Oh no... I don't. It's just one of my hobbies..." Soo Yeon was contented that someone actually praises her for her tea skills. Besides King Tae Jo of course.

"Perhaps I could have a taste of your tea someday?" Jong Suk suddenly suggested and Soo Yeon wasn't expecting it.

She met the eyes of Jong Suk's and it grew wide in shock as she tried to comprehend what she had just heard.

"Y-you want to try my tea?"

"Well yes... Is it not possible? I'm sure you had brewed tea for other people too right?" Jong Suk asked.

"Actually... No, I haven't... Except for one person." Soo Yeon instantly felt uncomfortable again as she thought of the day she had let her very first customer, who was also a King, tasted her low standard tea.

"Was that person the reason why you wanted to end your life?" Jong Suk asked cautiously.

"Yes." Soo Yeon gasped at her own answer as she didn't thought she would open up to anyone about this relationship that easily. What more to a stranger that she had just met.

"W-well... Life's precious. I'm sure you would find someone even better. Clearly he wasn't the reason you should die for." Jong Suk's words gave Soo Yeon a brand new hope and feeling that she hadn't been able to think of for the past one month.

After a deep conversation over fine tea, the two people left the tea house feeling even more closer and warmer.

"Thank you for today... For listening to my sorrows." Soo Yeon bowed gratefully to Jong Suk.

"Anytime." Jong Suk grinned back and they stared into each other's gazes for a few seconds, as if searching for the one thing they hadn't been able to look for in the past.
