Peace and Sorrows

Garen ran over the Lux's body trying to shake her to awake. "Lux!, please!, no..." Garen was ready to bow his head and cry until he heard a voice, the familiar voice, the one he grew up with.

"Th-thank you...I...-" Lux had spoken. She was so exhausted from fighting she had collapsed. Garen turned around and smiled. He had smiled wider and more enthusiastic then he had in his entire life. He was free. He had his favourite people in the world back.

He carried Lux out of the room and set her down outside on the plain green grass and went back for  Katarina. He rounded up some of his soldiers and took them to hospital via carriage.

Hospital

"Wh-where am I....I-I hurt all over. Am I dead? Where's Garen, where's Katarina? Talon?, Cassiopeia?,..."

She opened her eyes to see her brother standing next to her, glad she was awake. Lux smiled back at her brother. "So you did it huh?...where's Katarina, I need to apologize."

Garen frowned..He looked down to the hospital floor. "Katarina...She....She didn't make it. You killed her."

Lux was about to cry when interrupted. "Sorry, I was joking! Hehe..." She didn't approve. "DON'T do that!" Lux said, aggravated. "She's fine, she just needs to rest up a few days, so do you. You can see when you are able to go home." Garen said.

Lux understood. But before Garen left, she took his hand. "Garen....I'm so sorry." Garen smiled apologetically. "Don't sweat it." And left.

A couple of days later in the
Crownguard household...

"Dinner time!!" Lux shouted. They all came pouring into the dining room ready to eat. Lux was hosting a dinner in order to apologize for the carnage caused by her the other day.

They were having roast beef. Garen drooled as Lux walked in, serving the dinner. "Garen...haven't I told you not to do that when we have guests?" Everybody laughed. Garen frowned and wiped his face.

A.N: By 'everyone' I mean Talon, Cassiopeia, Katarina, and Garen.

Before they tucked in Lux tapped her glass with a spoon. Everyone turned to her attention. "First I have some apologizing to do. Katarina...I'm sorry for I did to you, that was unacceptable. Your're clearly a great person to be around and I bet you'll fit in nicely at Demacia. Since the merging of the the cities everything has been better. There's no fighting and Valoran is happier than ever. To you and Garen. May your relationship be fruitful."

Everyone applauded Lux and on that, she blushed. They tucked in and enjoyed the meal. They decided they wouldn't stop the fun there so Talon, Cassiopeia, and Katarina stayed the night. When going to bed Katarina and Garen kissed, and slept off the bad days away.
