"Alright we're here."

Garen said as signalled Katarina to hold tough. They were met in a beautiful clearing in the forest and a massive mother tree to polish it off. The cherry blossom leaves glowed a magical neon purple as they were in season in this mystical forest.

"How did you discover this place?" Asked Katarina as she looked around in complete awe. It's nothing like she had seen before. She was proud of Noxus but this made her heart quiver.
"This place was an important part of my childhood." Explained Garen as he dismounted, Katarina following the example.

"I came here every day after school, It was the only place I could go, it was the only place I wanted to go." Continued Garen his face saddening.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Asked Katarina as they walked to the centre of the clearing.

Garen sighed. "It's just....I was bullied at school but I never told my parents, I kept it to myself and vowed when I came out of school, I'd join the military so no one would have the hardship....The hardship I had when I was young, like this tree signified for me, my dignity."

"Garen was Bullied!?" Thought Katarina as they sat down by the mother tree, adjacent to each other. She never would have thought someone with proud stature, and a large strong body would succumb to such lowness. She even knew he was stronger than her.

Katarina played with her hair as she interrogated Garen furthermore. "So why are we here?" Asked the red-haired assassin. "Well...I guess I just wanted to show you something...your trial is tomorrow so I wanted to cheer you up."

"But then....why did you give me my weapons?" Questioned Katarina still looking around the at the beauty before her eyes. It really weakened her composure. She felt slightly homesick.

"Well...I wanted to fight you here.." Said Garen quietly, twiddling his thumbs as he said it. He heart was beating hard enough for Katarina to hear now.

Katarina stared as the grass for a second. Then she stood up. "Where are you going?" Garen asked quickly, his left hand on the grip of his sword. " I can't let you leave you know."

"I just wanted to fulfil your objective" Stated Katarina.

"Lets fight!" Said Katarina as she squared up a distance away from him, smirking. She pulled out two of her daggers.

Garen smiled and got up quickly. He unsheathed his sword and charged at Katarina. He began swinging attacks at Katarain as she quickly dodged and blocked.

They laughed as they fought, yet they were in a heated battle. They found comfort in each other, yet their factions were mortal enemies. Their confidence in each other was nice even though spilling one or the other's blood would spell great victory, or even more...Fame, fortune, worship. Anything they wanted.
Yet they didn't kill each other, they liked the challenge. The strive to best one another, not as enemies but as rivals.

Suddenly, Katarina tripped up on a rock as she dodged one of Garen's attacks. She fell to the grass with small grunt. She looked up at Garen, into his blue glistening eyes as the sweat rolled down his face. A ray of light shone through the trees in the clearing, onto his strong, large, and tall body, as if he was the guardian angel of Katarina.

Garen didn't hesitate to look back either, into her green eyes, into her beauty, her rarity. Garen knelt down, closed his eyes,

And kissed her.
