Tribunal (part three)

As the group walked out into the courtroom, they were met with a
congregation of Noxians sat on the left side of the room, consisting of veteran champions from the area Noxus of 'The League', and nobles. The Demacians were on the right, consisting of the same people.

Katarina, Cassiopeia, and Talon were on the left side of the judge's podium, while Garen and Lux were on the right, corresponding with their respective factions. The judge was sat high up in the podium, calling to order as one of the Elders Of Valoran.

After a while of chatter, the judge used his grovel to quieten down the jury. "Order!, Order!, this court will commence." He said.

He then stated the following words; "Katarina Du Couteau has been accused of attempted murder of Garen Crownguard on the 21st of August, 2017."

We will start with the perpetrator. Their chosen lawyer will speak. Cassiopeia Du Couteau, could you please swear to tell nothing but the truth by the creed of Noxus, Valoran, and all of the above?"

Cassiopeia obliged. "I ssswear."
The elder spoke again. "Ok, please answer the following questions."

"Where were you on the night?"
Asked the elder.
"I wasss in the Du Couteau houssehold sir."

"At what time?" The elder asked deeper. "7:30PM." Replied Cassiopeia.

"That was two hours before the crime was committed, quite convenient for someone who was going to oversee an operation."

"I wass cooking dinner ssir." Cassiopeia replied. "It wass ready by that time and me and Talon began to eat it."
"Hmm.." wondered the judge.
"But I will sssay that Katarina was taken earlier in the day for a meeting." Cassiopeia said.
"Ok, thank you for your answers." Said the elder.

He glared at Katarina. "Katarina, do you also swe-" He was cut by Katarina's frustration of how slow this court was moving.
"As you know, Noxus and Demacia hate each other, correct?"

She said, "Yes." Said the elder back to her. "Then it would be obvious that attempts to kill each hidden under sight of the peace treaty, right?" Katarina further went on. "Yes..?" Said the elder, puzzled at her theory."

"Then I it comes clear that I, the Sinster Blade, an assassin, would try to do that."

"What are you implying young lady?" The elder said, ready to bang his grovel and sentence her.
"I-I'm not finished!" Katarina said quickly. She then started again. "So it means that our factions, Noxus and Demac-"

Katarina was cut of by the words that would flip this entire court case upside-down.

"Katarina tried to assassinate me and we ended up falling in love."
