What will happen to us....

Does it really start, or does it end?

Today is my first day of starting new.  I went to school, and some geeks called me over.

"Hey Amy, what was wrong with you yesterday? You were acting weird.."

"Yeah, and that whole thing with you trying to sit with Stacy and them. Like wow, where did that come from.. Are you Okay?"

I was staring at them like, really are they talking to me. But I decided to go with the flow. "Oh, that.. I don't know I guess I was just living in a dream" I laughed and sat down, "And yes I am Okay."

"Okay, well, do you remember what today is?"

"Sorry? Today?" I said choking on a pop tart.

"Of course you don't, today is the tenth month anniversary since Brandon and Stacy has been dating..."

"Wait what..." I started to cough "I, um I mean why does that matter to us?"

"Well, it could have something to do with the fact this is going to be the month we dominate the Red Hots in our very own video game.."  Abby stated

"Oh, um cool." I said trying to catch up with what they were saying

"Really, you don't remember the Red Hots, they are like our worst enemy. They have beat us in every tournament. But this time we have you."

"The number one video game champ in the world" perked in Mark.

"Number one.. cool, I have an awesome life."

"Yeah you do, your rich, and you have talent. I'll tell you, I do not know why you want to keep it all a secret."

"Maybe, I just don't want the popular crew to take me for granted."

"That is why we will always be the number one group with you."

The bell rang and we headed off to class.

"Amy, nice to see you could join us today." said Mrs. Rivers.

"Yes, it is.. Where did you disappear to yesterday morning?" Stacy said with a ring in her voice.

"I... I um..."

"Mrs. Rivers why is it the centipede crawls at night?" Mark perked in getting Mrs. Rivers attention away from the question Stacy just asked me.

I turned around and mouthed "thank you" He nodded and asked the question again..

"Mark, stop disturbing my class, Now class turn to page 394 in your math book." Mrs. Rivers continued on.

Stacy threw a note at me and it read, "oh, look you get saved again by your big strong man.." I looked up and she snickered, "Don't think I am threw with you yet. That stunt you pulled yesterday, yeah you haven't heard the last of it." I looked up and Stacy gave a sassy smile... I crumbled up the note and threw it away.

The day went on and finally I got to go home. I felt kind of empty. Like something was missing.  I didn't know what it was.. I honestly I did not want to find out what it was. I look on my facebook account and that is when the whole day started going south. right there on the Internet for everyone to see was a post and a picture of Stacy and Brandon. I fell to pieces. It was about their ten month anniversary. I was crushed. Why was I? I mean in my old life I broke up with him, and this life was way better then the old life I used to dread. I slammed my laptop shut. Cracking the top of it. I turned around at the sound of a rock hitting the window. I got up and walked to it. I looked out and Mark was standing there holding something in his hand. I ran downstairs to greet him in. He walked in with a grin on his face and handed me a rose.

"You do realize that that is the tenth time I have handed you a rose and you took it without even a question." Mark said

"Oh, is it?"

Mark gave a grin and went to the fridge and got something to drink, "Now, you see that's what I love about you Amy. You don't ever question anything. You just go with the flow."

"Yeah, I guess I am just that good right?"

We both laughed and went up to my room and turned on the T.V.  Mark saw the crack in my laptop. "So, I guess you saw the picture?"

"What?" I saw he was looking at my laptop.."Oh, yeah I did."

"Amy, you know Brandon is no good for you. You really need to see that."

"I know I just... I don't know... It's just every time I think about him or see him I think about." I stopped myself before I told about the wish.

"You think about what? Amy come on, tell me."

"Okay but, you are going to think this is crazy."

"Amy everything you say is crazy."

"Two nights ago I made a wish..." I told everything, about the wish, about me and Brandon..

"Amy, I know that... I.. I saw the entry in your notebook."

"My, notebook?"  Mark walked to my closet and pulled out a box inside it was the notebook I was writing in the day before I made the wish.

"You were acting weird the other day and well it made me think of this.  You still like him don't you?" When I didn't answer Mark knew the answer. "You know.. maybe I should just go"

"No, Mark please don't go."

"I think I should..."

"Mark..Wait" everything went silent. Suddenly I started to flash back to the day when I made the wish.  "Mark, no please don't go..." He kept walking, it was like he wasn't hearing me. "MARK!" He turned around and ran toward me. I fell to the ground.

I could hear him screaming "AMY! AMY NO!!! Come on get up Amy. What's happening?" Everything went black. "Amy..." Marks voice faded away...
