You keep me warm
When I hide from the truth
When I shadow my face
And my heart turns to blue
When my palms are quite wet
And I sigh in my head
When I can't stand the softness
That comes from my bed
When my parents are yelling
And the tears are still swelling
When I can't find the courage
For any good thing
So I see that you care
With your plain and blank stare
