You keep me warm

When I hide from the truth

When I shadow my face

And my heart turns to blue

When my palms are quite wet

And I sigh in my head

When I can't stand the softness

That comes from my bed

When my parents are yelling

And the tears are still swelling

When I can't find the courage

For any good thing

So I see that you care

With your plain and blank stare

My cabinets

You're like heaven to me
