The three of them stood there as he closed the door. "Are you fuckin' serious right now!" Luke spat as Jonathan just groaned mumbling out 'so close' "We need to get Amy to stand up against him, it might work" "There's no point trying guys but thanks anyway" Bryce smiled before leaving the two alone in the corridor.
Meanwhile Amy sat on her bed thinking about the events leading up to this. Ryan walked in the room. "What were you thinking?" Amy rolled her eyes. "Ummm jumping off the balcony." Ryan sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "Amy I am being serious right now. I mean c'mon kissing one of my friends?"
Amy glared at him. "Actually you came in before we even kissed. So thank you for once again putting my first kiss on hold." Ryan rolled his eyes and turned to walk away.
Amy's eyes began tearing up "You can't control my life you know! I have to get married sometime in my life! There is absolutely nothing you can do about it!" She shouted.
Ryan frozed tensing up at his sister raise of voice before letting out a sigh looking back to her. "Amy, I'm just trying to look out for you..." "Sure 'cause that's the reason!" She spat out in sarcasm.
He took a seat next to her placing a hand on her knee. "Don't cry Amy, you'll understand one day" "He seems like a good guy" "He is a good guy, I class him as one of my best friends" "Then what's so wrong for almost kissing him?!" She yelled out in frustration.
"I, well he is a guy and I understand what guys normally go for when it comes to girls." Amy felt as if fiery venom was swarming in her stomach. "He is not like that Ryan he is not that type of guy!" Ryan sighed "Amy yes he is I know him I was his age once." "That's your excuse for everything in fact it's probably your excuse for not even having a girlfriend!" Ryan visibly flinched and Amy realized she had gone to far. "Ryan I'm so.." Ryan got up "Forget it Amy." He said before walking out.
Amy felt a wash of guilt hit her as she felt her throat closing up, the tears fell as she tried taking some deep breaths to calm herself down.
She jumped hearing a faint knock on her window, as it so happens to be an upside down Jonathan. She quickly got up to open the window.
"Let me in!" He squealed. "HURRY HE'S HEAVY!" A voice was heard from above as she stuck her head out to look, Luke was holding him by his ankles.
"I need new friends..." she thought to herself.
She grabbed Jon hands yanking him in as he fell on to the floor with an 'oomph' "Jeez thanks Amy, so gentle!"
"What are you doing here!" Said Amy wiping away the tears from her eyes. "We are here to bring you confidence!" Said Jonathan in a whisper. "She already has confidence Delirious she just needs to learn how to use it!" Said Luke from outside the window. Amy shook her head. "I just stood up to him and maybe went a little too far." She said collapsing on the bed. Jonathan sighed "One of those nights huh?" She began crying and he hugged her tightly.
"C'mon, I'm sure he knows whatever you said you didn't mean it" "I basically said you can't get a girlfriend so why are you stopping me from getting a boyfriend?" She choked out looking to her best friend looking like a crying snotty mess.
He passed her over a tissue. "We say stuff we don't mean when we're angry..." "He deserved it" they heard Luke yell from out the window once again. "C'mon, live a little. Come to the bar with Luke and I. One drink won't kill" "You're right!"
She walked out of the hotel room noting with a heavy heart that Ryan had his room door shut. Jonathan nudged her shoulder leading her out the door. When they hit the bar Amy noticed that Jonathan and Luke hung back.
She turned to look at them in confusion but they had somehow disappeared amongst the crowd. That was when she heard him. "Hello there madam, are you lost?"
A smile drifted across her lips as she turned to look at Bryce. A comforting glow lit up his blue eyes. Amy heart ached for Ryan on what she was doing behind his back.
Amy had the urge to go back to the hotel room and apologies to her brother but then...she was standing possibly her first chance of love. "No... I'm not now"
Bryce smiled thankfully at her response, he was still a little nervous that she could possibly run away. "Any particular drink you want? It's on me" she stood there a bit embarrassed not knowing any drinks, she's never drank once and Ryan not even a drinker she's barely seen him even touch a alcoholic drink.
"Is...." she lowered her voice for his ears only. "Is there lemonade here by chance?" Bryce let out a laugh. He motioned for the bartender. "Two lemonades please!" He turned to Amy. "Not a drinker eh? Good! Me neither." He said with a smile which quickly faltered. "How's Ryan and how did you get him to agree to letting you down here?" Amy frowned and looked away. "Ryan didn't let me come here I came here with Jonathan and Luke. I said some things I shouldn't have to Ryan and now I feel terrible."
"We all say things we don't mean sometimes, don't stress about it Amy. By the next day it should be fine, it's a normal sibling thing. My brother and I were like that" "Really?" Amy sounded a bit hopeful. "For sure" the lemonade was passed down, as Bryce and Amy took the glass both taking a sip.
Bryce couldn't help but smile seeing how innocent she was just by simply drinking from a glass that's bigger than her face.
Amy set the glass down grinning. "What?" Bryce set his glass down. "You are absolutely adorable did you know that?" Amy blushed shifting a strand of blonde hair from her face looking down at the floor. Bryce stares at her in awe. "Want to pick up where we last left off?" He said smirking.
Amy's eyes snapped up and she slowly nodded. They both smiled and began leaning in, this time their lips met. They were both surprised that they had made it this far. Neither of them dared move at first. Then Bryce took control and Amy melted into the kiss.
She shakily placed her hands on to his slim waist knowing she wouldn't be able to reach him in less she goes on her tip toes.
Luke and Jon both smirked taking a sip of their beer watching Amy and Bryce from a far distance. As Jon looked to the entrance his face dropped seeing Ryan walking in. "Shiiiit" he smacked his best mate to get his attention.
Ryan was about to look around when Jonathan came up distracting him. "Ryan I was wondering when you'd show! Hey the Twitch party is happening right now, let's go!" He began pushing Ryan back towards the door. "HEY!" Luke showed up beside Ryan "Trust me Ryan I heard that this party is supposed to be lit!" Ryan pushed himself away from the two and spun around to face the two "What is up with you..." he cut off as he stared at something behind them.
Jon gulped as Luke didn't want to look. "Huh, it's a gay party. No wonder why you two are here" the hazel eye owner smirked. "Heh heh... yeah..." "Fuckin love him..." Luke punched his best mate a little too hard as Jon returned the favor. "Buddy old pal..." "Fuckin bitch" Luke mumbled under his breath.
