Amy didn't say a word to her brother on the way back home as she just stared out the window admiring the scenary. Ryan glanced at her a couple of times, he just couldn't believe his sister actually slept with Bryce. "Amy..." Amy looked at him as he was struggling with words. "I'm sorry..." "For what?" Amy questioned with a frown. "I just am little sis" he looked at her as both their hazel orbs held regret.
Amy decided to be a little optimistic. "Well how about we watch a movie tonight and pig out, no recording, no drama, Just me, you, Buddy and the couch" "That sounds nice"
And they did after the long drive back, both showering and getting change. Amy was in the kitchen preparing the snacks as Ryan was sat with one leg crossed in and one leg sticking out against the couch flipping through Netflix.
"Anything?" Amy asked walking in already stuffing her face with the popcorn. "Nope" he snatched the bowl from her before she demolished it. "Hey..." she whined. "You've been eating A LOT lately, you ok?" Ryan smirked stopping her from reaching it. "I'm hungry!" Buddy let out a protective growl as Ryan looked at him narrowing his eyes. "Really boy? You're choosing her over me!" "Told you he loves me more!" She giggled cuddling the jack russell terrier. Ryan rolled his eyes feeling offended that his best friend chose his sister over him, yet he gave him the most attention.
Amy plopped down next to her big brother as Buddy decided to curl up on Amy lap cuddling against her stomach. "What we watching?" "I think zombieland" "Aww you chose my favourite" "Need a bit of comedy in our life" he shrugged. Amy smiled at him. He was trying.
Halfway during the movie, Amy phone starts buzzing, she frowned checking it to see it was Bryce only to roll her eyes and decline it, her eyes enlarged seeing the spam of message. Bryce tried calling again only for Amy to decline. He threw his phone down in frustration. Ryan watched as Amy placed her phone casually watching the movie like nothing happened. He still felt guilty. But it had to happen.
"Hey man what's up?" Jon said through the other line. "She's declining my calls, not answering any of my message what the hell do I do?!" Bryce groaned out. "Just keep trying man, sooner or later she'll give in" "And if she doesn't?" Jon just sighed. "She will" "I do hope you're right Jonathan..."
"Another movie?" Ryan asked as Amy shook her head no. He noticed the mood change from her. "What's wrong Amy?" "I don't know anymore" she whispered. "Am I making the right decision?" "I can't answer that Amy..." Ryan honestly answered.
"I'm just gonna go to bed..." Amy mumbled out getting herself up. Ryan watched as she went upstairs. His phone went off seeing it was Jonathan calling, he answered his phone. "Hello?" "Ryan! You need to sort this out!" "Sort what out?" "Bryce! He's a mess, do you know what YOU have done?" "I did what was best-" "No you did what was best for YOU not her" "I did what was best for US!"
Amy can hear her brother arguing to her best friend feeling guilty that this was all her fault she decided to call Bryce.
After the first ring. Nothing. Second. Nothing. Third. Straight to voicemail. She was alone in this, she doesn't even know if they've officially broken up.
She sat herself down on the bed staring down at the pregnancy test shaking in fear as it read.
Positive.
