Cole's POV
Right now I was jogging because Jill says we need to get "exercise" and stay "in shape"
I'm running through Burbank park and there's a bunch of little kids running around. I see boy, after girl, after boy, and a girl..... Not just any girl. That's Y/N.
She's in my bio class and I've had a crush on her since 6th grade. Her eyes, her smile, her laugh, her everything.... she's just perfect. I hope one day-
"Shit" I whispered. I think I was staring because I tripped over a little girl who now had an annoyed look on her face and landed face first into the grass
"Are you ok?" Y/N asked and tried to help me up.
"Yea, thanks. What are you doing here?"
"Sometimes I nanny. That's Libby and this is Carson" she said pointing to the little girl I tripped over and a boy who was holding her hand
"Hi" I said to them
"Hello mister" Libby said looking up at me
I looked over to Carson but he just stood there, looking a little scared.
"Is he okay?" I asked Y/N
"Oh yeah don't worry about it. He's just a little shy and doesn't talk much" she informed me
"Oh ok. Well would you like to go for a walk?"
"Sure. Come on guys. Time to go" She told Carson and Libby. They got up from there spots while Libby took my hand and Y/N had Carson's
We just walked and talked for a while and eventually stopped for ice cream, my treat. Y/N and I both got vanilla ice cream and the kids both got Rocket Pops
"Hey um Y/N can I ask you a question?"
"Shoot" she commanded
"Would you like to go out Friday night? Like on a date?" I asked nervously
"Sure. Pick me up at 7"
"Alright then. I have to go work off this ice cream so I'll text you later"
"Ok" she smiled. I gave her a kiss on the cheek before starting my run again and her smile grew even bigger. I hope all goes well
