"Is it just me, or did a kill switch get flipped on Gypsy?" I ask, teleporting out of the way of a bolt of her vibing power.
I watch as the Barry tries to take her on. Then Harry shoots her down with his futuristic gun.
"Who the hell is this?" he questions.
We stand outside of Gypsy's new cell.
"Why am I locked up?" she demands.
"You said you'd go back to Earth-19," Cisco says to her.
"I did," she protests. "I was hunting a breecher, on Earth-2. I wasn't going to take you back." She's talking about HR.
Barry and I exchange a look.
"Let me guess, you stumbled upon an African jungle?" I glance at her.
"Yeah, and I saw--"
"A giant gorilla with anger issues," Cisco said.
"Grodd's here," Barry says, "he took control of her, and sent her to kill us."
"But she's on Earth-19," Cisco objects. "Grodd's telepathy can't cross dimensions like that."
"That means Grodd's here, on Earth-1." HR realizes.
"Something tells me he's not here alone," Cisco murmurs.
"Like a Gorilla Army?" I cross my arms.
"Yeah. Just like that."
"We could stop the attack before it ever starts," Barry says.
"Something tells me we need some vibing to be done," I flick my eyes over to Cisco.
"We need your Vibe googles," Harry tells Cisco. "And we need an engineer. West follow me."
"Oh," Wally walks out with the scientist.
"Be careful those are my only pair," Cisco calls to them.
"We may bee help from your dad, at GCCPD," Barry says to Iris.
"I'll go tell him," she turns and leaves The Cortex.
"We could use Gypsy's help," Caitlin suggests. "She's a really powerful Meta."
"But how do we know she's not a gorilla spy?" Jesse asks.
"We checked her out," Barry tells her.
"No spies here," I promise.
"Do you think you can convince Gypsy to fight with us?" Barry asks Cisco.
"Bruh, she won't say no to me," Cisco says leaving to the cells.
"She's gonna say no to him," I predict.
***
"Okay, so Gypsy's a no. And here we are, standing, waiting, for an army of King Kong's to wreak havoc in us all," I pace back and forth across the street. Its night and the GCCPD is here, ready to shoot down killer gorillas.
"Maybe this is the wrong place," Wally suggests, wearing his Kid Flash suit.
"Or the wrong time," Jesse Quick responds.
"Jesse's right, we're too early," Barry says.
"No Flash, too late," Joe-Not-Joe says.
"Grodd, let him go. You want me," Barry said.
I take a step forward, the rain pelts my suit. I watch as the mind controlled Joe lifts the gun to his own head.
"I cam to first Earth to burn Central City, and the puny humans die," the gun in his hand goes off.
Barry brings Joe away in a blink. The bullet missed.
"Joe," Wally uses his dad's name to keep his identity.
"I think so," Joe replies, touching the new scrape on his head.
"That was Grodd's plan? To attack Joe West?" Wally asks.
"No, it wasn't," Barry said.
"Then what was?" Jesse questions.
"A distraction."
"The question is, a distraction to do what?" I furrow my eyebrows from behind my mask."You want to stick magnets to my brain, to look into the mind of a psychotic gorilla?" Joe asks.
"Yes," Cisco and Harry say at the same time.
Joe looks at Caitlin who smiles kindly, then to me. I nod, "he won't attack you, don't worry."
"Okay," Joe sighs. "Lets get this over with."
Caitlin puts the headset on his head.
"If I start to 'Grodd out' shut the power off immediately," Joe tells Caitlin.
"Of course," she says.
I look over at Barry, he looks troubled. "Are you okay?"
Barry's green eyes fall on me, "yeah."
I can somehow sense he's planning something, in that brilliant brain of his. "Just make sure you don't do anything you won't regret."
"I won't."
"Okay, here you go," Harry hands Joe a pad of paper. "And here. We. Go."
Joe's eyes go blank.
"Is that supposed to happen?" I look at the detective.
"Joe?" Barry waves his hand in front of Joe's face.
Then Joe starts sketch on the paper.
"I didn't know he could draw," Caitlin says, cocking her head.
"That's the thing, everyone can draw," Cisco says. "Its just that some people have a better mandible cortex than others. Now those magnets are taking his cortex, and lightin' it up."
Joe stops drawing, and on the paper is sketch of a man.
"New problem," Barry said, taking the pad from Joe. "We have to find out who this is."
***
"We ran the picture through the department of defense," Caitlin says, as the picture is scanned through the computer. "And Cisco would say Yahtzee."
"Yes, I would," Cisco fist bumps her.
"Nice work, HR," Barry comments.
"I know," HR remarks.
"DOD has him listed as Air Force General Mathew McNally," Iris reads off the screen.
"I'll give you a guess what he's in charge of, just one guess," Cisco says.
"Nuclear weapons," I answer.
"Bingo, we have a winner. Yes, Sky's right," he replies.
"Any nuclear missile that'll be ready to go off, win trigger an alarm," Harry said. "So we'll know."
Right on cue, an alarm goes off.
"Does it sound like that?" HR asks, "because that's an alarm."
"Oh no," Barry rubs his face.
"Yes, HR, it sounds like that," Harry grumbles. "Set off from Fort Reynolds."
"I'm going after it," Barry starts for the exit.
Jesse, Wally, and I follow.
"No, guys, I need you here," Barry says. "If I can't stop it, I need you to get everyone to safety."
"But--" I start, but Barry's already gone.
"Barry, you need a five digit code to stop the missiles," Cisco says, a few mintues later.
"What is it?" Barry asks from his coms.
"That's the thing, we don't know."
"How many probabilities of the code is that?" I ask.
"That's, um," HR's trying to come up with the number.
"That's 90,000 precisely, HR," Harry said, annoyed. "You'd know that if you were an actual genius."
"Barry, hundreds and thousands will die," Iris says.
"Oh, that's giving him confidence," I mutter under my breath.
"Two missiles are locked on target," Caitlin says, her eyebrow furrowed.
"Guys, we need something else, this isn't working," Barry said.
"Plan B, anyone?" Cisco asks, worried.
"I'm gonna pull a Supergirl on this one, and teleport it into the ocean," I offer. "Its risky, but--"
"You aren't strong enough to move that thing," Iris tells me.
"I can try," I pick up my mask.
"Sky. It won't work," Iris insists.
"He has fifteen seconds," Caitlin reports.
"You just gotta keep going, Barry. You gotta keep trying" Harry encourages.
Seconds pass.
"It- It worked. We did it!" Barry says relieved." I know, Grodd is a gorilla. But, Barry, once you kill Grodd, you will release darkness. I've seen that darkness in other people. You can't go back afterward. This is an intelligent creature, not a lab rat."
"I know, Sky. There are other ways."
"Alright then, now that's settled. Lets go fight some gladiator apes."***
"So, any pointers on how the four of us stop a few hundred gorillas?" Wally asks Barry.
"Go for the legs, just try not to get caught."
"I can take out ten of them at a time," I said.
"Nice," Jesse comments.
"I just hope that that's enough to buy you guys time," I look a the mob of gorillas heading towards us.
Wally and Jesse take off, and I teleport.
I land in the middle of the apes, and electrocute three of them already.
I whirl around, to see Grodd fling Barry into a taxi.
"Oh my God," I murmur. Then a fist closes around my neck. I hold out my arm, and absorb energy from a telephone wire.
I catch sight of Wally and Jesse flying away through the air, and hit the pavement.
Electricity pulses through my limbs, and I let out a shockwave of power. About twenty apes fall.
I stop, as a my attackers look away. They're staring at their former leader, Solovar.
The battle between Grodd and Solovar goes on for a good fifteen minutes, before Grodd falls from a building, onto the street.
"Time to die, Grodd," Solovar rumbles.
"Stop! Death isn't the way," Barry shouts.
"He betrayed me," Solovar growls.
"So leave him here, where he's from. He won't let him anywhere near Gorilla City ever again. Just spare his life, like I did yours."
Solovar nods, "then take us home.""So, Cisco finally got for kiss Gypsy. Harry's safely back on Earth-2. Also, no more gorillas." I smile at Barry.
"And we're still together," Barry whispers.
"Well, not even battles can separate us."
"Seems like every word that comes out of your mouth is poetry."
"Wow...That was..."
"Cheesy?" Barry raises his eyebrows.
"No, it wasn't that bad." I wrap my arms around his shoulders.
"I still can't help but worry about you dying."
"Savitar said only one person would die," I murmur, pressing my chest against his.
Barry holds me closer.
"I know. . . But I'll--"
"Please, don't try to save me. I can take care of myself."
"I know you can. You're my warrior.. Can I tell you something?"
"Sure. You can tell me anything."
"I love you, Sky McGray."
I totally was not expecting that. "I. . . I love you too, Barry Allen. My Flash."
I put my forehead to his. Crackling electricity spreads from arms, flowing into him.
In return, I feel the Speed Force, from Barry, rush into my veins.
A combination of blue and yellow lightning.
Author's Note: I got no words. Just kidding. So, the next episode in the TV series is called The Wrath Of Savitar. I mean, they basically copied me, because I also made a part named that. BEFORE they did. I deserve a raise people.
I tried to keep this short. Maybe too short. But oh well, you can't read this forever.
That just about covers everything. Byeeeeeeee!
