Yang's pov

The ride to the house was quite eventful. Wiess's dad said it was fine for her to stay and Blake didn't mind sleeping over. Let's not forget that I was the one driving and almost got us killed about ten times.

"SLOW DOWN YANG!!" Ruby yelled again. I came to a hault and and smiled, looking in the back seat at Blake and Wiess. They both looked like they saw a ghost.

Ruby on the other hand was already out the car and running up to the house holding a hand over her mouth and an arm over her stomach. I laughed as I got out the car.

"Oh come on! It wasn't even that bad!" I said. Ruby couldn't make it into the house and ended up barfing in the rocks. I busted out laughing.

I grabbed my keys and opened the front door. I waited for them to walk in before shutting the door. I saw dad pop his head out behind the wall and smiled.

"Hey dad" I said. He looked at the other three before looking at me. "Kitchen. Now." I groaned and walked into the kitchen. "Yes father, what is it this time that I have done wrong?" I asked.

"Don't give me that crap Yang. How fast did you go this time!?" he asked in a stern voice. I smirked and shrugged. "It was between 115 and 135" I said and he gasped.

"Yang!! You can get a ticket!!" he yelled. I only laughed. "Only of they catch me dad" I said going to the fridge and pulling out a bottle of orange juice.

"It doesn't matter if they catch you or not Yang, you can get in a car crash-"

"I'd like to see that happen"

"-You could hurt yourself-"

"I've been driving since I was twelve dad"

"-you could die!"

"I'm still breathing dad" I said. He huffed and glared at me. "I'm not helping if you ever turn up dead Yang"

"And I'll be damned if I ever do" I said taking a drink of my juice while walking out of the kitchen. "We're not done Yang!" he yelled after me.

"You aren't. I am" I said as I walked up the stairs. "Yang!! Get back down here or-"

"Or what!? You gonna call Raven and say 'look the child you left isn't listening to any of the bullshit I'm saying!?'" I yelled back down the stairs. It went silent and I knew that I won this argument.

I walked down the hall and into my room. Once inside I made sure I slammed the door before jumping on my bed and taking a drink of my juice.

"Yang!? Can you come out here please?" dad yelled on the other side of the door. "Why? There's nothing to talk about Tai. You don't want me here and Raven doesn't want me at all. Just face it, you can't take care of me" I said loud enough for him to hear.

I heard him sighed. "Yang. Please?" I didn't answer him and waited for him to leave. After about another minute he left my door and knocked on Ruby's door. I heard mumbled voices before the door closed again.

I thought he was gone but the knock on my door told me other wise. I knew that my eyes were red now and I huffed. I stood up and walked over to my door.

I yanked it over and was about to yell but I couldn't find my voice. There stood Blake looking up at me with curious eyes. We stared at each other for a second before I shut the door.

"Why the fuck did you do that you dumbass!? You could've at least said 'hey' or 'hi'" I said to myself. I took a deep breath before yanking the door open again.

I looked down at her Before rolling my eyes and stepping back so she could enter my room. She walked in and I closed the door behind her.

I watched her carefully as she slowly looked around my room like it was the first time she was here. I watched as her eyes traveled from my desk to my ceiling.

I watched as a sparkle went through her eyes and a small smile displayed on her lips. She slowly got on my bed and laid down, as if she made a wrong move I would yell at her.

She sighed before looking up at my ceiling again and inspecting it. "You added more yellow?" she asked not looking at me. I could tell that my eyes were shifting between lilac and red but I answered anyways.

"Yeah." I said in a hoarse voice. She nodded with a smile. I stared at her as she laid there still looking up. She was beautiful and didn't know the reason why I added more yellow. It was because of her.

I sighed and walked over to my bed, laying down beside her with my face in the pillow. "You have a nice bed" she mumbled. I took my face out of my pillow and looked at her.

"You have a nice body" I mumbled and she blushed madly. I chuckled and closed my eyes. We both became silent and it was kind of uncomfortable. I opened my eyes and saw that she was looking up again.

I groaned and turned my body so that I was facing my ceiling. "You draw beautifully" she said. I turned my head and looked at her.

She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. "You are beautiful" I said and she blushed again. She turned back to the ceiling and I chuckled. I folded my hands and put them behind my head as I closed my eyes.

I should probably add more yellow.

***************************************

My eyes shot open and I sat up gasping for air. I had a weird dream but it didn't feel like a dream. It felt like a warning that someone was trying to tell me.

Once I got my breathing under control, I looked over to my left and saw a figure. I squinted my eyes and sighed with relief when I saw it was just Blake sleeping.

I looked over at my nightstand and saw it was 12:54 at night. I sighed and laid back down. I closed my eyes but this time I couldn't sleep.

Why? What was that dream about? Why can't i remember it? Why did it feel so real but I can't remember it!?

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a light weight next to me. I opened my eyes and looked over to see that Blake had moved so that she was closer to me.

I stared at her in the dark for a while before my eyes adjusted and I realized she didn't have a blanket on. I watched as she turned to face the other way but backed up a little so that her back was up to my front.

My breath hitched and I waited a couple of seconds before deciding she was sleeping. I sighed again when I saw her shiver through the dark.

I slowly lifted my hand and ran it down the side of her arm. I watched as my warm touch traveled through her body with a small goldish glow. I watched her reaction and smiled when she didn't seem that cold.

I did this a couple of more times and noticed that she disnt flinch away from the warmth like other people do. The way she rested her head seemed uncomfortable so I slipped my left arm under her head while I wrapped my right one around her stomach.

I noticed she still didn't flinch away even though my body heat is at least 110°F. I was about to remove myself from her just in case I burned her, but I stopped.

Why?

Because instead of moving away, she put her hand over mine and wrapped her fingers around it. She pulled me closer to her and I'd have to admit, I was scared.

I wasn't scared of hurting her though, I was scared I was falling for her. I was so damn scared but this is what kept me going. Being scared of loving Blake.

Instead of pulling away from her I snuggled my face into the crook of her neck and closed my eyes. I ignored everything around me except Blake.

I let thoughts of Blake consume me brefore sleep finally took over and I was out within seconds.
