Hey readers! How long has it been? Months? Years? Welp... I sort lost track of time. I've gotten obsessed with this fan-fiction I've been writing and completely lost focus of my other books. So I'm trying to catch up with all(most) of them.

I was re-reading my old chapters and realized my writing style has slightly changed over time(thank god). I don't know if you'll notice(or maybe I haven't changed at all TT_TT )but the way I wrote some things made me cringe XD

Re-Cap:

"I'm going to die," I squeaked into his shirt.

"Yeah at this rate you might have cardiac arrest," he chuckled.

Then he said firmly, "We won't move until you get used to this, because inevitably, your heart rate will slow down."

After what felt like forever, my heart rate did in fact slow down.

And I fell asleep clinging to his shirt.

"RISE AND SHINE SHREK!" Shouted Tommy, giving me a heart attack.

I screamed and grabbed the nearest things to me and started throwing them like my life depended on it.

Tommas looked terrified when he saw the objects that were flying at him, which happened to be three text books and lamp I was planning on throwing out.

He let out a girly shriek and ducked down, covering his head. Of course the items fell down after smacking the place he was once standing and hit him on the head anyways.

"Serves you right su-" I was cut off when I heard my mom shout.

"KAMARIA ANSTICE I SWEAR I HEAR YOU SAY 'SUCKER' ONE MORE TIME YOU'RE GOING TO SLEEP OUTSIDE!"

I swallowed.

Well shoot.

"-sucker," I whispered under my breath.

"YOU ARE DEAD YOUNG LADY," my mother shouted, and stomped up the stairs to my room.

I whirled around, desperately looking for an exit, and was surprised to see my stunned mate, half sitting up on my bed, looking ready to bolt as well.

"Quick!" I hissed to him, "The window!"

He rushed to the window, jumping out first. Wow, he just ditched me.

I heard the door handle rattle and I turned to see Tommy desperately trying to keep the door shut.

"Run," he gasped out. I wiped an imaginary tear, my favorite brother was sacrificing himself for me. I felt pride because even though we fought, we always backed up each other.

I gave him a salute before clambering out the window backwards, "You will be remembered, my brother."

I felt myself free falling backwards, shoot, I should've exited facing the ground.

Hitting the ground with my back would probably a lot better than the wrath I would face if I had stayed inside.

I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for impact. And impact came, a lot more squishier than I was expecting and it let out a grunt.

I peeked open one eye, why was ground making noise? To my surprise it was Luke who had caught me. Well... the noise thing made sense now.

He raised an eyebrow, "For your information, I did not ditch you, I just jumped out to catch you at the bottom."

"Ooooohhh, that make sense," I said, feeling surprised and touched. I only momentarily wondered how he knew what I was thinking and was instead distracted by another thought.
