Re-Cap:
I felt all my tense feelings melt away and I relaxed against him and let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
"Feel better?" He asked me.
"Yes." I stated, feeling calm.
We just sat there for what felt like hours as we watched the sun rise....
###################################
Finally I woke up from my stupor and sat up and said, "I think I should go home. My parents'll be worried."
He sighed. "Okay, I'll take you back."
Even though he said that he wouldn't let me go.
"Er, any time now," I muttered.
With his werewolf hearing, he heard me like I was speaking loudly.
He let me go and I immediately felt the loss of his arms around me.
But I pushed the feeling away and stood up. I grabbed Lucifer's hand and dragged him towards...wait where was I going?
I stopped, embarrassed, and realized I didn't know where the front door was.
I sheepishly turned towards my handsome mate and opened my mouth to ask him where the front door was and saw that he was smirking at me.
That jerk knew I didn't know where I was going and didn't say a word about it!
I scowled and whirled around- I definitely wasn't going to ask him for help. I stubbornly turned around and marched off as if I knew where the heck I was going.
I knew he was silently laughing at me as he followed.
I stood in front of a random door and pushed it open.
In the room was a desk and an extremely high-tech computer. But that seemed to be the only technology in there. There were papers everywhere in the room, books lying on the floor, or piled on top of one another.
Good God, it was a mess.
I turned to look at him with a smug smile on my face," Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
A he looked at the floor embarrassed. Ha, the tables have turned on him!
Desperate to save himself he said, "Well...you haven't found the front door yet!"
I nodded knowingly, "I have." Because across the room I had spotted a window.
He looked at me, confused, and I headed towards the window. I opened the window and looked down.
Immediately my mind told me it was a stupid idea.
His face drained of color when he caught on and inched slowly towards me saying, "No, don't do it."
He was talking to me as if I was a bad puppy.
I scowled, not liking his tone and decided I would do it.
I turned and leaped out.
But not before I grabbed on to the side of the window so I was dangling on.
Ha, you thought I was going to stupidly jump out?
################################
I scaled down the wall like an awesome ninja I was and planted my feet on the ground. I triumphantly turned around and smacked into my furious mate.
Uh oh, he was mad. You could practically see steam come out of his ears.
He grabbed me roughly and pulled me so close that his nose was touching mine.
"Do you know how dangerous that was?" He hissed his blue eyes flashing.
I let out a pitiful squeak, my voice was being stupid and cowering in my throat.
He saw I had been stonified and released me while rubbing the bridge of his nose.
He paced left and right and I just watched him, frozen.
Every once in a while he would look up at me and scowl, then look away, and scowl again.
Honestly, that seemed pretty hysterical to me and a laugh bubbled up my throat. Considering the circumstances I'm pretty sure you would laugh as well to the slightest facial expression after solidifying.
It started from a giggle, turned to a laugh, and ended up as a full out stomach-clutching-muscles-cramping moment.
For a moment I couldn't breath and sprawled on the floor because my legs had weakened.
Finally, I regained my breath and looked up at my mate.
He had a torn expression between running away for dear life or helping me stand.
Finally he sighed, wrapped an arm around my waist and lifted me up.
I gave him a cheek grin and stated, "On the bright side: I won the game!"
He rolled his eyes to the heavens and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead, "Yeah, I can't win against you."
