Later that day, during lunch, Rusty was walking over to sit with Lincoln and Clyde as usual, but Lincoln frowned angrily at him. He sat down and asked, "Lincoln, what's wrong? Why are you so mad?"
"Oh, no reason..." Lincoln replied in a rather dry and nonchalant tone, but then shouted in a much angrier-sounding one, "EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT YOU MADE LUCY CRY!!!"
"Cry?" Rusty was rather surprised, "She actually cared about what I said?"
"Well, of course," Lincoln replied again, "Lucy's really sensitive underneath that shell of darkness, and she probably cares more because it's coming from her future brother-in-law."
Clyde was getting upset from this bickering and tried to intervene. "Guys, can't we just handle this like adults here?! Now, Rusty, you clearly made Lucy very sad with what you said, so why don't you just go find her and apologize?"
"Me?!" Rusty shouted furiously, "Apologize to that demonic little gothic freak?!?"
Lincoln got furious from this statement and exploded, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT LUCY?!?"
"That she's waaay too dangerous to be my sister-in-law!" responded Rusty.
"Well, you're obviously too cruel to be Lucy's brother-in-law!" said Lincoln.
It wasn't too long until things started getting physical. There was kicking, biting, punching, and all manner of violence...until they both angrily stormed off in opposite directions, knowing that their friendship with each other was now over.
