That night, Lucy grabbed her backpack full of necessities and went over to the window to open it, but much to her surprise, there was a dark, furious thunderstorm outside! She got a call from Rocky. When she answered, he said, "Hey, Baby Bat, I think that with this storm, we're gonna need to rain check this plan. No pun intended."
"Sigh, I think we should've checked the weather before we did this. Man, I wish I could be as good at making plans as Lincoln."
The next day at school, Lucy called Rocky to tell him, "Hey, Tombstone, I've got an idea."
"What is it, Lucy?"
"Well, we set up a date with Lincoln and Ronnie Anne at Gus' Games & Grub, but we get Rusty involved. The two will have a lot of fun and be friends again. Problem solved."
"I love that idea. We should probably come along to make sure things go smoothly. One fight, and it all flies South for the winter."
"Good idea. I'll persuade Ronnie Anne to ask Lincoln out on a date there, and you'll persuade Rusty to go there, okay?"
"What time?"
"How about 6:00 PM?"
"Perfect."
