I told them all the story while I drank some water Sue gave me. I told them about the unexpected change in my DNA, finding out I was pregnant, when I got hurt on the battlefield on Naboo, the attack from Cad Bane, us deciding to leave to raise our daughter properly, and then the night we flew here. I even mentioned Ahsoka, Kix, Echo, and Fives and how they've helped so much. Once I finished, Cut and Sue had a mixture of relief, sadness, anger, concern, and kindness on their faces. Cut walked over and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Don't worry Rex; you'll be safe here. We'll help you both out." Cody and I gave him a relieved smile. "Thank you, Cut. That means a lot." Cut moved aside to let Sue walk up to me. "Cut will hide your ship so that it is not out in the open. I will lead you both to your room." She and Cody helped me up the stairs, making sure I don't fall.

They released me once we were on the second floor. I smiled at the ground. "You got the floor fixed." Sue laughed. "We did. Cut also added extra rooms for storage. That is why we have room for you here. Here is your room." We walked into a small, yet cozy room. There was a bed big enough for Cody and me, and there certainly was space for a little bassinet. I turned around and hugged Sue. "Thank you so much, Sue." She hugged back, and I could feel her smile against my head. "You are quite welcome, Rex. Now, you two rest. Dinner will be ready shortly." She released me and, this time hugged Cody. "Thanks for taking us in, Sue. Even if you and your family don't know me." Sue chuckled. "If you are Rex's fiancé, we can certainly trust you." She left us alone in the room after that. I turned to Cody and wrapped my arms around his neck with a sweet smile. "Even though we just got here, I feel like we made the right decision." Cody returned my smile and kissed me. "Me too," he muttered. He closed the door and placed me on the bed, our lips still locked.

Ahsoka's POV:

I walked down the halls of the Jedi Temple, heading to the Council room. News about the missing ship quickly spread, and the Jedi Council want me to give my side of the story. I just hope they believe me; it can be pretty hard to keep things from the Council. I also hope they buy the story of Rex's and Cody's deaths. I got the bodies and the 'evidence,' I hope it's enough to convince them. Outside the doors, I saw Fives, Echo, and Kix standing there. They were going to back me up on both of my stories, seeing as how they were there too. I stood by them. "I hope they buy the stories," I whispered. They nodded. "Me too," said Fives. Kix spoke up, "Sorry about the bruises and broken wrist by the way." I shrugged. "It makes it more believable." I turned around to face the doors. They opened, and we walked in.

Inside the room, I saw Master Skywalker standing by the side giving me a reassuring smile, but I could see the concern about the multiple injuries all over my body. The Council members were sitting in their seats; some were holograms. All of them looked at me; I could feel their concern. "You may speak your story, Ahsoka," Master Plo said. I nodded, inhaling deeply, before speaking. "Last night, I couldn't sleep. I tried, but I just couldn't, I thought a walk around the temple might help. So I did. It was about fifteen minutes after that I heard a noise coming from the hanger. I ran to it, only to find the guards knocked unconscious by tranquilizer darts. I cautiously walked in the hanger, lightsabers in hand. It was silent for a few moments until I heard blasters firing. I quickly ran to it to find Captain Rex and Commander Cody had engaged with the intruder. I got in the fight with them. We tried to get him to say why he attacked the hanger, but he wouldn't budge. I tried contacting all of you, but somehow he was interfering with the comms. By then, it was getting harder to deflect his shots; he was getting too quick. He shot my arm, making me release my lightsabers. We then started hand-to-hand combat. I was quick, but he was much stronger. He gave me a few good punches; however, I still held my own. That is until he saw an opening and grabbed my wrist, snapping the bone completely in half. He hit my head, knocking me to the ground. I saw him shoot a few more times before flying off with the ship. I laid on the floor a few moments, regaining my senses, before standing up. I-I went to check on Rex and Cody, b-but..." I made fake tears roll down my face, to add effect, before continuing, "...they were killed."

The room was completely silent; no one said a word. I looked over at Master Skywalker, who had a look of grief. His hands clenched and unclenched. I looked at Master Kenobi, who was shocked and sad at the news. "Can anyone confirm your story?" Made Windu asked. Fives, Echo, and Kix stepped up. "We can, sir. The guards had traces of the serum in their bloodstream from the darts. Fives, Echo, and I were doing patrol rounds when we heard blasters. We ran in the hanger in time to see the ship leaving. I ran to Commander Tano, who was knocked out as she said. I then went over to Rex and Cody, who had multiple blaster shots through their hearts. They were dead. R2, pull up the reports."

R2 rolled over and showed pictures of the clones in armor that we replicated. We got two dead clones (sorry clones) and transformed them to look exactly like Rex and Cody. We even got Cody's facial scar right. The pictures showed their dead faces and the cause of death. Then a security footage that we made played, showing the 'fight.' Everyone looked at the evidence with intense stares, absorbing the information. Then, Master Kenobi spoke solemnly, "You four may leave now." We nodded and walked out of the room and down the hall. Once we were out of earshot, I said, "I hope we convinced them."
