Broken

Elijah's POV.

Y/N just broke up with me and I feel heart broken. I feel a tear going down my eye and Ethan walks in. "Elijah, why are you crying?" Ethan asked. I quickly wipe the one tear from my face, "What do you mean?" I sarcastically ask. "Your crying, don't hide it from me. What happened?" Ethan says. "Y/N, just broke up with me." I reply. "Oh... Why?" he ask. "She said that her life right now was too frustrating and she didn't have time to worry about our relationship." I reply. "What? She didn't have to do that. We could've helped her go through it." Ethan says. "Yea, but she's moving back to California." I say. "Oh.. Well.. I'm sorry dude. I know one day she'll get over what's happening right now and she'll want you back." he says. "Yea, but if it's best for her, then ill let her go. She needs some time so I respect that, but I'm going to miss her." I say. "Ok, good for you dude." Ethan says.
Ethan's POV.

I went back to my computer and since in head editor for Elijah I got an email saying he was one if the nominees for YouTube's all Star. (I made this up) I wanted to give him the good news but he was just a "nominee" so it's not certain he's gonna win. I wanted him to feel better about his break up so I told him the good news. I walked into his room and scared him. "BOOOO!!" I yelled into his ear. "AHH!!" he screamed. I started laughing and he started laughing too. "Dude I gotta tell you something amazing!" I said to him. "What?" he asked. "I just got an email that said you were one of the nominees for YouTube's all stars!" I yelled excitingly. "What are you kidding me?  You better not be lying to me bro." he replied. "No I'm not. Your just a nominee though. The category is for newest and fastest growing youtuber." I said. "That's freaking amazing!!" he yelled and gave me a big hug. He must be happy now.
Y/N POV.

It's been about two weeks living back with my mom and I still haven't gone back to Massachusetts to get my stuff because I didn't want to see Elijah again then just leave him. I sit on my bed and watch some of his youtube videos on my computer. I look at him and he looks so depressed. I think to myself, this is for the best. You need the time away. He looks so sad in his recent videos. I just kept watching his videos and knowing deep inside I really miss him, but I don't admit it.
Then I get a call from Ethan.
~phone call~
Y/N- Hello?
Ethan- Hi Y/N
Y/N- Hi Ethan, what's up?
Ethan- I realized that I haven't talk to you since you moved and I just wanted to know if your doing well.
Y/N- Thanks I'm doing fine, you?
Ethan- I good. But actually what I really call you for was to tell you that Elijah was elected as one of the nominees for YouTube's all stars.
Y/N- wow!  That's great for him.
Ethan- yea, and earlier I got an email saying that Elijah won, but I'm not suppose to tell him. It's meant to be a surprise when he's there.
Y/N- Wow! That's amazing! Tell him I'm happy for him.
Ethan- I would, but I was kinda thinking that you could be the person to hand him the award.
Y/N- umm.. In not sure about that. I'm very happy for him but we're not dating anymore and that would be kinda awkward.
Ethan- oh Ok that's fine. Well I'm going to get going now. Bye Y/N.
Y/N- bye.
~Phone call ended~
Then I just sit there staring him play video games and then out of nowhere I started to cry a little. I keep watching and start crying and realize why. I only broke up with him because I was so frustrated. Not because I don't like him anymore, only because I though I didn't have the time for a relationship. But I still love him. Then I realize that I lost him because of my frustration. I miss him so much.
I walk over to my mom and I tell her that I'm thinking about going and getting my stuff from my old house tomorrow, and I also tell her about how Elijah won the award and I wanted to be there when he got it. I was only gonna be gone for about s week so she let me go. I wanted to go and get Elijah back, and never let him go. I went to sleep and started packing up.  In the morning I said goodbye to my mom and I went on the road for three days to drive all the way there. Sleeping in my tiny car ever night and eating gas station food, but It was all worth it. The thin that scared me the most was if he didn't even want me back.
Three days later I arrive at their house and run up to their door and knocked in it. Ethan answered. "Y/N? What are you doing here?" he asked. I look at him and tears just start pouring out. "I made s mistake." I cried, and gave him a big hug. "What do you mean?" he ask. "I broke up with Elijah but I realized that I still love him. Where is he?" I ask as I wipe up my tears. "He went to Chicago already for YouTube's all stars." he answers. "Already?" I say. "yea he had to go early. Are you planning an going?" he asked. "yea.. I was thinking on handing him the award and getting back together with him." I say. "Oh well we better get going now, it starts tomorrow night and it takes a day to get there." he says. "Ok, lets go."  I get to my car and sit in the driver seat. Ethan comes up to me and tells me to get out. "I'm driving." he tells me. "Why?" I ask. "Because you just drove three days all the way here from California and you need rest." he says. "Well OK fine then you can drive." I reply. We get in and I sit there about to go to sleep then he sees me shivering. He takes off his jacket and gives it to me. "Thanks." I say with a smile and he smiles back. "Your nice." I say to him. "Your my brothers girlfriend, why wouldn't I be?" he says. "Used to be. Then I let him go." I say sadly. It's ok, I know he's been thinking about you nonstop still." I smile at him and fall asleep as he drives to Chicago.
