Hopes

Elijah POV.

As I waited in the hospital, I believed it was all over for her. She already got hit right in the head with and electrical shock, now she was hit with a metal bat, so how could she not. Of course I didn't wanted her to go, I just kept wishing. I sat there with my knees bending to my head, no matter what, I wasn't leaving until I saw her. I got really late around 10 pm. We've been waiting for hours and hours. Her mom and the pals have show up already and still waiting. A doctor's voice came up and asked for us. We all ran up. "Thank you for waiting-" she said but I interrupted her. "Is she ok?" I said. "Well, she has not woken yet, but I believe she will be will live." she said. My eyes lit up and so did my hopes. "REALLY?" I yelled. "SHH." everyone said. "Can we see her?" Sub asked. "Well she's not awake-" but Sub interrupted her. "I don't care." he said. She let us in and we crowded her. It was kinda like we had a group huddle because we were all whispering over her. "Give her some space." I whispered. "Shhh, you could wake her." Sub whispered. "She unconscious, she can't just, wake up." Denis whispered. "SSSHHHH." Sub said. "Shut up!" I whispered. Then we all felt her move. We all gasped and backed up a little bit. She moved around a little bit the her eyes slowly opened. "Y/N!" I yelled. "SHUT UP!" they yelled. "Do you want her to get brain damage again?" Sub said. "Sorry." I said. I grabbed Y/N's hand and looked over to her. "Y/N! Your OK!" I said feeling tears of joy coming down. She opened her eyes and looked at me. "E- Elijah?" she whispered. "Yes! Do you remember me?" I asked. "Elijah!" she said reaching all the way up to give me a hug. "I missed you so much!" she continued. I didn't want to let go of her so I slowly brought her back down to her bed and hugged her. "I can't believe I forgot you! I'm so sorry!" she said. I let go of her wiping my tears. "So, you do remember me! How?" I said. "I- Idk." she said. I backed up to let everybody else see her.

Sub POV.

"Y/N!" I yelled. "SUB!" she replied and I reached down and hugged her. She cried in my shoulder and held me tight. "Thank you so much Sub!" she said. I didn't even bother to reply back because I didn't want to let go. Then Elijah grabbed my hand and pulled me away so the others can see her.

Elijah POV.

The doctor said she can't get for a couple days so I waited there with her overnight. The pals went home and so did her mom but me, Sub and Ethan decided to stay. We were in the waiting room and once again, I was sitting in the uncomfortable chairs that brought sad memories. We went to a nurse and asked her why she remembers us now. I saw Y/N through the window playing with her hair looking bored. "So why does Y/N remember us NOW when she was even more injured that before?" I asked. "Well, you see, that lighting bolt knocked out her memory, but with that force that was launched in with the bat to her head, well, idk, gave it back. That's all we could find out that actually makes sense." The nurse explained. "So your telling me, that being hit with the bat, just so happened to knock her memory into place, but didn't have enough force to actually kill her?" I asked. "Yes, that's what I said." The nurse said. "Wow." Sub said. "Can we see her again?" I asked. "Sure." The nurse replied. We walked into the room and she was playing with her hair smiling. "Hi." I said with a smile. "Hiiii." she said with a childish voice. "How you doin?" I asked. "I'm hungryyyy." she said again in her childish voice. I laughed and looked at Sub. "We had to put her on laughing gas to look at her wounds." The nurse said. "Oh that's why she's like this." I said. "Yep, well I'll just leave you boys to it." The nurse said And left. I looked at her laughing and standing came onto the other side of the bed and looked down at her. "Hi." ethan said. We laughed at him because he made a funny face. "Hii Eli!" Y/N said. She grabbed Ethan by the neck and kissed him for a split second. Me and Sub looked very surprised and laughing at the same time. Ethan felt really uncomfortable then started laughing again. I wasn't mad because I know she's on laughing gas. "Hey, I'm Elijah." I said in a voice that you would talk to a baby like. "Oh." she said like a child. I just laughed at her and leaned down and kissed her. "OK, you gotta have you head checked bow ok, see you in the morning." I said. "Awww, Eli, I don't want to." she said. "I'm sowy." I said. I'm smiled at her and we left the room. We sat at the waiting room chairs and then I fell asleep.
