Damage

Sub POV.

I grabbed a drink and went to go stand my the guys. "Hey, where did Y/N go?" I asked. "Oh she just went to go take out the trash." Elijah said. "Oh it's been awhile, should I go check on her?" I ask. "Um yea if you want." Elijah said. I take an umbrella and a flash light so I could see. I walk out into the yard and didn't see her, then all the sudden, there's a person laying on the ground in the distance. I threw the umbrella and ran towards them. It was Y/N. I kneeled down at her and tested her pulse. "Y/N?" I said in shock. I felt tears rolling down my eyes. "Y/N! Wake up!" she was breathing but her heart beat was slow. I quickly picked her up and carried her to the house I walked in all wet carrying Y/N. Everyone saw us and ran towards me. "Sub what happened?" Elijah said. "Idk. I just found her lying on the ground." I said. "And I also found this in her hand." I said setting her down on the couch. I pulled out his necklace he gave her with the chain broken. Elijah slowly grabbed it out of my hand. He started at it for awhile and then looked at Y/N. "No, no this is all my fault." Elijah said walking to Y/N pushing everyone out of the way. He knelt down at her and started crying. "This is all my fault, we got to call and ambulance." he said. I looked to him putting my hand on his shoulder, "No, it's not your fault, we don't know what happened." I said. He pushed my hand off his shoulder. "The necklace. It's metal. And she was hit. That why it broke." he said slowly. "Go call an ambulance, someone!" Elijah said. Denis pulled out his phone and called. Elijah hugged her. "Hit by what?" Alex said. "Lightning." Elijah said. Soon an ambulance came and they put her in the ambulance. We all went with her and told everyone the party was over. The ride to the hospital was awkward and quiet with all of us worried sick. A lightning bolt can kill some one if it hits in the right place. We got to the hospital and rushed in. We weren't allowed to go in so we waited in the waiting room.
Elijah POV.

I sat in the waiting room with my head buried in my arms crying. How could I do this to her. That stupid necklace. It's all my fault. Everybody was quiet until a nurses voice came up. "Who is here for Y/N Y/L/N?" (your last name.) We all looked up and ran to her. "So I have some good new, and some very bad news. First, she will survive, luckily she wasn't hit in the heart. But she was hit in the forehead.(Ik in reality, u would most likely die if u were hit in the head but oh well.) For that she is still unconscious and has some brain damage." The nurse explained. "What does that mean?" Elijah said. "When she wakes up, it's a possible chance for her to have loss memory." The nurse said. "Loss memory for like, a couple minutes to days or?-" Sub asked. "Thought out her life. But she could have flashes and memories from her childhood." The nurse explained. "Loss memory!" Elijah yelled. "So she won't even remember who I am?" he continued. "Yes in sorry." The nurse said. Elijah looked through the window at her laying down and saw a tear coming down. I put my hand on his back and patted it. We went to go sit down and it got late. The rest of the pals had to go home but me and Elijah refused to leave. After a few hours the nurse told us she was awake and that we could see her. We both jumped up and ran into the room. I looked at her as her eyes were opening and grabbed her hand. "Y/N!" I said. "Do you know me." I continued. She looked ta me and Elijah all weird. "Wha- what is this place?" she asked. "Your in the hospital." Elijah said. She pulled her and out of mine. "Who are you guys?" She asked. I felt tears streaming down my eyes and so did Elijah. "No, no I'm Sub! I'm your best friend, from 2nd grade! You have to remember me!" she looked at me and then looked down. A few moments later she spoke up. "S- Sub?" Y/N said. "Yes, yes! I'm Sub your best friend!" I said. "Sub!" she leaned in and gave me a hug. "How could I forget you." she said with her face buried in my neck.

Elijah POV.

"Y/N, do you remember me?" I said nervously. "Uh, I'm sorry. I don't know you." she replied. I felt my heart shatter to pieces. "No, No, no it's me! Elijah! You have to remember me." I said panicking. "You remember Sub, you have to remember me." I said. "I'm, sorry, I- I don't know who you are." Y/N said. I looked into her eyes and grabbed her hand. "It's me, Elijah." I said. She pulled her hand out of mine. "I- I don't remember." she said then she screamed in pain and put her hand on her head. Nurses came running in and pushed us out. We sat on the waiting room chairs and I put my legs up on the chair and buried my face in it. "Elijah, I'm sorry." Sub said. I didn't reply. "She'll get around, it will just take some time." He said. "No it won't Sub! She was hit in the head, she not going to remember anything." I yelled. "Elijah calm down." Sub said. "I can't! I just can't. She doesn't know who I am anymore! And it's all because of me." I yelled. I pulled the necklace out of my pocket and stared at it. U crushed it with my hands and immediately Sub took the necklace out of my hand. "Don't break it! It's special." Sub said. I sat there putting my face in my arms and fell asleep.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and woke up. It was Sub. "She's awake." Sun said. We walk into her room and she saw us coming. "Sub!" she yelled and hugged him. She looked at me with a weird face. "Hi." I said awkwardly waving. She gave me faint smile then looked back at Sub. "They said I can go home." she told Sub. "That's great!" he said. "What? Already, you not better yet?" I said. "Well she's awake, and they healed and damages she had, so I think she's fine." Sub said. "Sub, your the only person she remembers. Do you consider that fine?" I said. "Elijah, cmon, calm down. She deserves to go home." Sub said. "We can help her get through it." he continued. I looked at her and started crying. I walked at of the room looking through the window watching the help her pack. She had a bandage on her head and a couple bruises. She walked out and Ethan came to pick us up. We got home and took her to my room since we stayed at my house. "So what happened?" Ethan asked. "She doesn't know me." I said looking down. "Aw, I'm sorry man." Ethan said. I rolled my fingers through my hair and got up. "I'm gonna get my phone." I said. "OK." Ethan said. I walk into my room and saw Y/N laying in my bed. "I'm sorry, I'm just getting my phone." I said. "Ok." she said with absolutely no emotion. I was about to walk out of the room the I went and sat by her on the bed. "Can I just, tell you some thing to help you remember? Possibly?" I ask. "Um, ok." she said. "First off. My name is Elijah Best. You don't remember this but, you and me were, dating. I'm your boyfriend." I said gently. "You, are?" she Asked. "Yes, yesterday, was our anniversary. I even gave you, the necklace. I'll be right back!" I said. I ran to Sub. "Give me the necklace. Hurry!" I demanded. "uh OK." he said handing it to me. I took it and ran back to my room and sat on the bed. "This necklace, I gave it go you. Do you remember?" I said showing her the necklace. She looked ta it for a long time and looked back at me.

A/N- I'm sorry for leaving s cliff hanger but I haven't written a chapter in a couple days so I just had to post it or else I would know where to stop so yea. I hope you liked this chapter.
