9 years later
I looked around as I grabbed my 4th or 5th beer can from the outdoor cooler. She was bound to be around here, knowing I would come out to grab some more booze. The smell of her insanely expensive perfume was drowned in the smells of weed, alcohol, bonfire smoke, and my favorite the ocean. As soon as I had the beer in my hand I ducked my head and made my way to my lovely fordable chair.
"Hey Ravi babe. Are you hiding from me?" Out came Velvet from the crowd of dancing bodies, A smile stretched across her face. Her lips instantly reminding me why people called her Velvet. She was wearing a pale pink, loose thin blouse with black lace shorts. I could see her black bra holding her ample sized breast through her shirt.
No matter how fucking toxic she is there was no denying she's the sexiest thing created in the 20th century so far.
"Ravi... my eyes are up here." That made my gaze shoot right back to her now smirking face. Velvet was a very stunning girl with her long platinum blond hair and striking blue eyes. She had a nose that was narrow and straight, her lips round and pouty. Being from Cali she always made sure to have perfectly tanned skin, she adored sun bathing... every inch of her body. I was a witness to one of her sun tanning sessions under the California sun.
"Did you want something Ventura?" She wasn't at all fazed by the use of her real name which she hates. She reached to move her painted fingertips from my chest to around my neck before putting her lips an inch away from my ear.
"I want what you make me beg for, when I'm on my hands and knees." Velvets's alluring voice whispered as she pressed her body against mine. I can't lie, her voice did something to me but my will was strong.
"I already told you Velvet, we are done. We have been done for over a week now. Just give it up already." I grabbed her waist, gently pushing and forcing her to stop tiptoeing. I patted the top of her head and walked away but not before hearing her last words.
"You can't quit Ranvir. We are done when I say we are." Obviously Velvet has never been rejected and can't stand that I stopped our arrangement. Can't say we were friends with benefits as Velvet's personality didn't allow her to have any real friends. What me and her had was more like benefits without commitment. She didn't mind that I didn't take her out on dates or do anything romantic. She also didn't mind that I never made an effort to give her anything for holidays, she had her daddy to give her expensive clothes and jewelry. We used each other for our bodies and that was all. I don't understand why she was making a big deal out of this if we both knew what we were getting ourselves into.
I just wasn't interested anymore. The sex was great but I was bored of her complaining and nagging. I just didn't like her as a person and it was effecting my happiness and making me feel even more like trash. She was supposed to be a distracting me from my shitty life not making it worse.
"You still tapping Velvet? Bro if you're not hitting that anymore I think you might have brain damage." Wyatt was spying on me after I left my seat which was now taken by Larry. Wyatt wouldn't be able to last five seconds of Velvet's whining about the smell of fish in his jeep, if only he knew. I now had to sit closer to Manni and Jae who were too close to the 8 foot tall Bonfire then I would've liked them to be. Everyone suddenly stopped talking and zoned in on the mention of Velvet's and I's "relationship".
I just stood there, my mouth shut not willing to tell them anything about Velvet and I. They really were a bunch of nosy girls waiting for the latest scoop. They of course would also make a big deal out of this too. I took that moment of my silence to look at my friends.
Wyatt has been my best friend since I was in the 7th grade and he was in 9th, he practically raised me to be the guy I am today. Sad to say but he was giving me more influence than my absent father. I learned everything from Wyatt, from how to shave to how to talk to girls. He saved me from so many assholes kicking my ass when we were kids. I hadn't stopped wearing my dorky glasses till he finally told me to get contacts, but the bullies never stopped. Eventually I grew big enough to be able to stand up for my self. Wyatt wasn't part of the "Rich" community but was still able to get into the private school I was in because his mother was working as a full time maid at The Robinson's mansion. He pays rent for one of the rooms in some apartment way off the coast. Meeting him on that school bus all those years back was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me.... second best thing.
