-Melanie
I was awoken by loud banging from my front door and sweat dripping down my face. Nightmares seem to still happen, even when I'm in hell itself, which I'm still not use to. I fluff out my hair and turn on a lamp, banging still ringing through the house. I sighed and opened the door, revealing poppy in a bright purple dress with eyes all over it, her hair pinned back a little.
"Why aren't you dressed yet?!" she yelled as she pushed past me into my house.
"Uh, I didn't know I had to?" I say like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
She sighs loudly and grabs my arm, beginning to pull me up the carpet stairs, I tried my best not to trip and fall on my ass. She then pushed me into my room, told me to get changed, then slammed the door. I shrugged and walked into my closet. I pulled out a pretty blue dress that I wore once to a carnival and a few times to school. I slipped on some white heels, and fixed up my makeup. I added a beautiful blue bow in my hair as a finishing touch and looked in the mirror, why am I so damn ugly? I sighed and grabbed my key, walking back out of my room where Poppy was waiting patiently. She looked at me up and down and smiled brightly.
"You look so beautiful!" She said grabbing one of my hands and pulling me back down the stairs.
"Thanks Poppy, but you look better." She raised an eyebrow at me as we walked out into the hallway.
"Sure Melanie, sure." She giggled, I giggled along with her as we walked down the hallway.
We came to a huge blue door and Poppy carelessly opened it and went in. I opened my mouth to say something but quickly shut it after seeing that there were a few people sitting around a long black table in a room completely white. They all just stared at me, so Naturally, I crossed my arms and looked over to Poppy, trying to get her attention. She looked over to me and waved me over. After a few seconds of hesitation, I rushed over to her side.
We took our seats next to each other. I looked around the table, one seat away from me was a tall brunette boy dressed in all black with a red beanie on, for some odd reason, his neck and hands were black, he looked tired and was slouched back in his chair. He looked over at me was smiled, waving his hand. I waved back and looked at the next person across from him.
He was dressed very formally, with black pants and button up shirt, making his gold jacket flash. He wore a huge, bright smile that made me happy. His hair was neat and dark, like his eyes. They were both dark brown, he noticed me staring and looked me up and down, he then bit his bottom lip and winked at me making me roll my eyes and look away.
The next two were in conversation to notice me staring. One had bright blue eyes, curly brown hair and was dressed very casually. I noticed a few pins on his jean jacket, things like rainbows, pride flags and red roses. The girl who sat next to him wore a huge flower crown and a pretty, light blue dress, with colourful flowers around it.
I didn't really know what I was suppose to do, so I just looked down at my hands and fiddled with them.
"What's your name?" said a scratchy voice next to me, the room went silent again and they all looked at me.
"M-Melanie." I said quietly, looking over at the tall boy with black hands and neck.
"Nice to meet you Melanie, I'm Tyler, Tyler joseph." He said quietly, before turning away.
"I'm Brendon Urie, nice to meet ya dollface." called the man with the gold jacket.
"This is Troye Sivan and Lana del Rey." He said pointing at them while they waved at me, I gave them all a small smile.
"Nice to meet you all." I said quietly.
"So, Why are you in hell?" Asked Brendon raising an eyebrow.
"Uh, I don't really know, how about you?"
"I'm here for taking advantage of a few girls then robbing their homes." He said, swirling his drink around, I swallowed dryly.
"I'm here for having at least 100 sugar daddy's." Lana spoke up, Troye laughed at her and she laughed along with him.
"I'm here for being with one too many gay guys and going to one too many pride walks." Troye laughed, I flashed him a smile.
"I'm here for killing my parents, to be fare, they were abusive as hell." Poppy smiled, my eyes widened at her. She seemed too happy to care.
"And I'm here for burning down a church, was worth it to be honest." Tyler shrugged making me giggle.
Suddenly, a boy came rushing in with bright yellow hair, a black hat sitting on top of it.
"Look who showed up!" Brendon yelled.
"You, cave man, sit down!" Poppy chuckled making the boy laugh.
I raised my eyebrow and looked at Poppy in confusion, she just smiled at me clueless. I rolled my eyes and sat back in my chair. The boy hesitated then took the empty seat next to me. I looked up at him, his eyes were so dark. He smiled at me happily, I smiled back and sat up in my chair and continued fiddling with my hands. that's when the realisation just hit me. I was dead. Everybody here is dead. There's no going back, I might never see my brother again. I can't just sit here and act like everything is normal because it isn't. I felt dizzy and the blinding white room around me wasn't helping. This meant I was going to break down at any moment, and it was a big one.
"I-I have to g-go. I said getting up from my chair.
"Wait, where are you going?" asked Tyler as he sat up slightly.
"D-don't worry a-bout it-t." I stuttered, almost tripping as I tried to get out of my chair.
The bright yellow haired boy looks up at me concerned, he holds my arm to support me. I look at him and my bottom lip starts to tremble. I was going to cry. Oh god I wish I never spoke. I snatched my hand away quickly and dashed out of the room.
"Wait!" I heard several voices shout behind me.
"No, leave me alone!" I yell back, pushing the door open and rushing down the hallway.
My hands shook and I struggled to get out my key. I began to panic when I saw Tyler and the boy I didn't know the name of running towards me. I shakily jammed my key in the lock, unlocked the door and slammed it just in time. I heard them bang on my door making me quickly lock it.
"Melanie, please tell us what's wrong." I heard Tyler's voice ring through the door.
"You don't even know me, just fuck off!" I yell, staring at the door.
The banging came to a stop, then came footsteps. Their gone. I walked over to the lounge room and sat on the mat. I sighed before I instantly broke down in tears. I sobbed. Then I started to laugh through my tears. I looked insane. I hated myself and I hated this place. I miss my home, my real home. There's no way I can go back. I'm stuck here, in hell. I missed my brother the most, at times like these, I always love how soft and secure they are. But for now, I had to stay strong. Tomorrow, I'm going to go back down the hallway, I saw a map. I think there's a library so I need to work out what the hell to do and why I'm here. I'll have to avoid everyone and keep my door locked too.
I crept up the stairs, laid in my bed among the teddy bears I'd had forever and fell asleep, despite my tears.
