Attacked Part 2

"Can you get me a drink? I don't want to miss anything" Lauren asked 20 minutes later as Y/N was stepping up to bat next all bases were loaded.

"Of course" Ally rushed out, she didn't want to miss this either. She ran down the steps of the bleaches as she heard the thud of the ball hitting Y/N's bat.

She stood under the bleachers watching as Y/N hit her home run, her and 3 others make it all back home.

Ally smiled at Y/N even if she couldn't see her and moved away to the drinks stand.

As Ally went to take the can of Pepsi from the vendors hand she felt an excruciating pain in her side, a flood of fear came over her.

Help!

Lauren screamed through her channel. Ally found a secluded place and transformed before letting out a large howl. It was a signal to Lauren and Y/N.

Lauren relaxed hearing a howl but cried out in pain when a foot collided with her ribs again.

"Dkye"

"Cunt"

"Whore"

"Fucking slut"

They kept screaming at her as they beat her, the crowd around Lauren didn't stop them. They just watched, some cheering.

"What the fuck is that?" Someone squealed in a high pitched voice, that's when Lauren heard a low growl.

She cracked open one eye as much as she could as it began to swell and saw a flash of brown fur.

The bleachers soon became deserted apart from the crowd of people who were around Lauren too scared to move.

The teams on the pitch saw the large beast and scrambled away from the field.

Baby? Talk to me

It hurts

Lauren whimpered as a large foot connected with the back of her head sending her into the darkness.

Ally was fuming and pounced as soon as she as saw someone moving. 3 out of the 7 people jumped off the back of the bleachers as to not be attacked but found themselves face to face with a snarling, teeth baring large black wolf with bright yellow eyes.

Y/N barked ferociously at the boys, a sharp smell of urine filled her nostrils. If she wasn't so pissed she might have found that funny.

She growled and took a step closer to the three boys; they cowered together and fell to the floor.

Ally, is she okay?

Its bad Y/N, we have to get her to a hospital

Do it. I have business to finish

Y/N paused taking in her friends words. She was right, Lauren did stay with her. Y/N howled in frustration and ran towards the school car park; she changed back to herself half way and drove her car into the middle of the baseball field.

Y/N ran up the bleachers to the top where Ally was stood growling at 4 boys who had also wet themselves. Ally was stood protectively over Lauren's body. Y/N nearly exploded with rage at the sight of her girlfriend's unconscious body on the bench.

Ally moved away from Lauren so Y/N could pick her up, her eyes still on the 4 boys.

Leave them, I'll make them pay. Y/N commanded.

Y/N carefully lifted Lauren into her arms and slowly made her way down the steps as to not jerk her body around and cause her some more pain.

When you get to your office, call her parents and mine. Make it official school stuff

Y/N messaged to Ally while placing Lauren in the back seat of her car.

I love you

Y/N kissed Laurens cheek and drove towards the closest hospital.

When they got to the hospital Y/N wasn't allowed any further than the waiting room. She sat next to a row of chairs on the floor. She brought her knees to her chest and closed her eyes listening to the unsteady thud of Laurens heartbeat in her ears.

"Where's my daughter?" Y/N heard someone yell from her left.

Y/N stayed routed to the floor listening to Laurens heartbeat. She focused on it so much that the world around her had vanished.

"Y/N. Y/N. Y/L/N!" Y/N heard as someone shook her shoulder.

Y/N yellow eyes flew open as she bared her teeth. She was met with 3 pairs of eyes; Ally and Lauren's parents.

Calm down

Ally scolded helping Y/N to her feet. Y/N shook her head and sunk back down to the floor hugging her knees. She was too angry to cry.

"Y/N this is Clara and Mike, Lauren's parents" Ally told Y/N in a soothing voice. Y/N didn't move, she was listening to the heartbeat of her girlfriend. She tried but couldn't hear the voices of the surgeons working on her.

Stop being like this, these are your girlfriends parents. You think they aren't worried about her too?

I don't know what I'd do without her

I failed her. I promised I'd keep her safe

Y/N stood up and turned to Laurens parents. She remained quiet and bowed her head before turning around and leaving.

Not till I know she's okay, Y/N thought to herself.

"I'm sorry about her, she's taken it hard" Ally explained to Clara and Mike.

"That's her girlfriend right? We met her once briefly when she picked Lauren up on a date."

"Yes, Y/N is a tough creature to talk to in the best of times."
