Attacked Part 3

Ally wasn't as connected to Lauren as Y/N was so she couldn't hear her heartbeat, or when it stopped. But she did feel a sense of ice cold water drench her body.

Y/N froze as she was into the gift shop on the ground floor.

No no no no no baby don't do this to me

Y/N begged Lauren to stay alive, to come back to her.

Thump thump ... Thump thump ... thump thump ...

She's okay, her heart started again

Y/N told Ally as she felt Ally panicking. Y/N bought Lauren some flowers and a teddy bear before running back to the waiting area. It was empty. Ally and Laurens parents were gone.

ICU 34 Ally's voice popped into her head.

Y/N nodded to herself and headed for the elevator. She hit the button of the ICU and waited. What would she say to Laurens parents? Well first of all she had to apologise for how she acted. That was for sure.

Y/N had briefly been in Laurens room to drop off the flowers and the teddy bear, which was now cuddled under Lauren's casted left arm.

Y/N let Lauren's parents in to spend time with their daughter while she was waking up from surgery. Ally had left to go back to the school and sort out the mess that had caused Laurens injuries.

Y/N found herself back on the floor, her knees tucked tightly into her chest as she listened to the thumping of her loves heart.

Y/N Came Lauren's groggy voice in her head

How are you feeling?

It hurts baby

Where are you?

I'm outside, your parents are with you now

I can't wake up, please I need you

It's so dark here, I'm scared

Can you hear what is going on in your room?

I don't know what's going on baby, no one has told me anything

Y/N stood from her spot on the floor and knocked on Laurens door, slowly pushing it open.

"How is she?" Y/N asked closing the door behind her.

"Finished brooding have you? Finally care how she is?" Y/N gritted her teeth and swallowed down the mean things she wanted to say.

"I care about your daughter Sir. I was within 50 feet of her, and I couldn't do anything to stop it." Well that's a lie.

"So yes I'll admit I haven't been 100% here but don't ever think that I don't love her or care about her. Because I do" Y/N growled at Laurens father moving around to the other side of the bed.

She took in Laurens features and gently stroked her cheek.

"Feel me now?" Y/N asked her lips against Laurens temple.

Y/N smiled and kissed Laurens temple aware of the eyes watching her every move.

"I love you too" Y/N told the raven haired girl, Y/N felt like she didn't say it aloud enough.

"What are you doing?" Mike asked from the other side of the bed where him and his wife were holding Laurens good hand.

"Talking" Y/N whispered her forehead against Lauren's cheek.

"I don't understand, she hasn't said anything. She hasn't woken up from surgery yet" Mike continued, Clara looked just as confused.

Did you tell them about me, the day you hurt your foot? Do they know of the wolves?

Are you kidding me? Do you think they'd let me outside if they did?

I'm gonna tell them

No, you can't

"Wake up and stop me" Y/N murmured to the cracked skin on Laurens hand.

I'M TRYING

"Try harder baby" Y/N told her girlfriend squeezing her hand. Laurens pinky twitched.

"Come on Laur, squeeze my hand" Lauren's middle finger moved.

That's me flipping you off

It means it's working

I'll kiss you if you wake up by the time I count to 10

"1" Y/N stood from her chair and stood by Laurens head.

"What are you doing?"

"I told her that she could have a kiss if she woke up by the time I counted to 10" Y/N explained, Mike and Clara shared a look but said nothing.

"5" Y/N sat on the bed next to Lauren and lifted her casted arm onto her lap.

"6" Laurens fingers twitched again.

"7. Good girl baby, you can do it" Y/N encouraged her girlfriend.

"8" Lauren's parents gasped as she squeezed their hands.

"9" Y/N whispered her eyes focused on Laurens face.

"10" came a hoarse voice from the top of the bed. Y/N grinned as a tear fell from her eye.

"Welcome back princess" Y/N leant forwards and placed a quick kiss on Laurens dry lips before giving her a glass of water with a straw.

"Slowly" Y/N told her seeing Lauren struggle with the straw.

"Thanks" Lauren croaked her voice still sore.

It hurts to talk

"It'll hurt at first baby, let's get the doctor" Mike pushed the call button next to Laurens head and smiled at his daughter.

"How are you feeling? You worried us" Lauren gave them a weak thumbs up.

"I see you're awake Ms. Jauregui" The young doctor called as soon as he walked into the room.
