            Peter's POV
Sierra, Edmund, and I stood together, watching as the Telmarines came at us. Then, I heard Sierra start counting.

"One.....two.....three.....four.....five...." We waited, watching, and when she got to ten, right on schedule, the ground under the Telmarines dropped, and half our men came up and out behind them. Sierra turned, signalling to the archers, and they released a rain of arrows on them. Letting out a cry, she charged towards them, and as she reached them, her blades flashed, slicing through soldier after soldier. We followed, and I chuckled when I saw her switch into lioness form. Edmund was piggybacking the occasional soldier, and they would pass out. Eventually, Sierra made it back to me, breathing heavily.

"We have to go back to the How. They're getting to be too much out here." I nodded.
"Back to the How! Back to the How!!" I yelled, and our soldiers were listening. But....so we're the Telmarines.
"Cut off their escape!" I heard one yell, and the catapults started going. They rained heavy stones down on the entrance, collapsing it. In the process, they also ruined our archers perch. I heard a scream, and looked up to see Cahira slipping. She fell, and I heard Edmund's terrified yell. Susan also saw, and grabbed her hand, just barely catching her and swinging her to a ledge where she could safely get down. Susan and Cahira made it over to the four of us, and Sierra sighed, twirling her swords.

"Honestly? Why can't they just give up and scram? I'm getting tired of these people." Then, she muttered something only I could hear.
"And hopefully, Lucy will find my father soon and he can help." Cahira smirked, picking up a stray sword.
"Then let's get rid of a few more. Maybe they'll get tired of dying soon." I laughed quietly. She had spirit. We charged back into the fray, Sierra and Cahira fighting back to back and getting rid of person after person. I saw one of Miraz's lieutenants getting ready to stab Caspian, but froze when he recognized him. Then, a root shot out of the ground, wrapping around his waist. It yanked him back, knocking him out, and then dropped him. I saw Sierra let out a battle cry, charging forward, her energy renewed at the sight of the trees moving again. Edmund, Susan and I followed suit, and we chased the Telmarines to the Ford of Beruna. We reached the edge of the woods, and when I saw Lucy on the other side, alone, my heart sank. Then, I saw one of the Telmarine commander look back at us, then back at Lucy, who was now joined by Aslan. They charged at the two, and froze when Aslan and Sierra, who was back in her lioness form, both roared. She changed back to human, smirking at me.

"This should be good." She whispered. Then, the river started flowing faster and lower, and a figure came up out of the water. The river god, who had lived there thousands of years. He rose up, terrifying the soldiers, destroying the bridge, and drowning several while he was at it. They quickly surrendered after that, and Susan, Cahira, Edmund, Sierra, Caspian, and I crossed to Aslan. We reached him, that kind look on his face, and we knelt.

"Rise up, kings and queens of Narnia." Susan, Sierra, Edmund and I stood, but Caspian and Cahira remained kneeling.

"All of you." They looked up, and Caspian spoke.
"But sir, I do not think I am ready." And then, Cahira also spoke.
"And I am no queen, my lord." He chuckled slightly, smiling.
"It is for that reason that I know you are. And it is possible that you may become a queen to your fellow Narnians at some point." They stood, and Aslan looked at Edmund, who blushed bright red. After that, Reepicheep got his tail back, and we headed back to Miraz's castle, celebrating the victory we'd had. The servants there were more than happy to provide every one of us with things to wear for the parade, as well as the ball that evening. Sierra had also retrieved our crowns from Cair Paravel, as well as the silver one her mother had worn long ago. Sierra wasn't too happy with wearing a gown again, but she eventually obliged. She and Cahira came downstairs, and when I saw her, my heart nearly skipped a beat, and I heard Edmund take in a sharp breath. Cahira wasn't happy about it, but she had on a pale yellow gown that looked perfect on her, with short sleeves and a white lace hem. But.....Sierra had her beat. She had on a simple, sleeveless ankle-length dress that was a solid white. Over the dress, there was a much more beautiful dark blue lace gown, which also came down to her ankles, and had almost elbow length sleeves. She also wore her mother's tiara, which fit her perfectly. I smiled, kissing her cheek.

"You look beautiful, Sierra." She blushed, and I heard Edmund talking with Cahira.
"You don't like it?" He asked, and she chuckled.
"I have no idea how people wear these death traps constantly. It's like wearing a birdcage." He laughed slightly, and she gave him a look.
"Do you want to try it?" I choked down a laugh, and I could see Sierra biting her lip. I raised an eyebrow, and she shook her head, trying to keep a straight face.

"No. No, thank you. I'm just fine with this." I grabbed Sierra's hand, and we took off, running outside where we wouldn't be disturbed for a bit. When we got out there, we both lost it, laughing until we couldn't breathe. When we finally caught our breaths, she smiled at me.

"They make a good couple. And I like Cahira. She's got fire." I smiled.
"She is. But I prefer you over her any day." She smiled at me, taking my hand.
"And though your brother is sweet and considerate, I prefer my magnificent king any time. I remember the day you were crowned. You changed a lot." I smiled, taking her hands and pulling her close.
"But I still love you. That hasn't changed." I pulled her into a kiss, and after a minute, we heard footsteps, and then Caspian's voice.

"King Peter? Lady Sierra? Are you here?" We came out from behind the pillar, grateful it was dark enough for him to not see our red faces.

       "Yes?" He smiled slightly, nodding.
"Your presence has been requested at the ball, and the feast will begin soon." We nodded, following him in. Things were actually going well now. The Telmarines had been defeated, no enemies were on the horizon, and I was engaged to Sierra. Life actually seemed perfect for once.
