The wolf kept running. He never turned back. Just kept running. He didn't care if his claws turned blunt from the ground.
He knew that man.
He remembered him.
Flashes of memories ran through his mind.
Karlheinz was the father of the Sakamaki brothers.
They were his friends.
His best friends.
But why did Cordelia want him to kill them?
Was it because...
Because they had never helped him throughout his suffering days?
He had to live in the wilderness by himself for the first few years after running away from home.
But why?
The large beast frowned as he came to a halt in the middle of a clearing, memories from different times pieced together.
Cordelia had took him in. She took care of him while he was homeless.
The young lady was a caring mother. Though she told him that she had to run away from home in fear of her sons killing her.
But the Sakamaki brothers?
They did absolutely nothing.
Their father did tell them about the werewolf's homelessness. Then why did they not help him.
Not even a single bit.
The werewolf snarled as a vehicle came to a stop behind him.
He knew exactly who they were.
Oh he knew them alright.
The very vampires he held a grudge against. Along with that blonde girl who stepped out of the car with them.
The large beast growled menacingly as he stood on his two hind feet.
He huffed and howled as the large valve on his back drilled itself back inside his flesh while his silver eyes turned into a crimson red. Steam escaped from the many mechanisms on his back as the wolf growled.
Karlheinz stood in front of the group.
"(Y/N), please, calm down. It's not what you think we are, Cordelia had you altered yet again to suit your memories to the current situation."
"Please stop lying Tougo." The purple-head appeared from behind the large beast, smirking.
"(Y/N), would you listen to someone who abandoned you or the very someone who took care of you when you were in need?" The female said, almost laughing at the vampires who were trying to "help" the wolf.
The large silver-furred beast only growled. He needed to see blood. He craved for it.
His claws dug into the soft soil as he leapt forth at the young girl who screamed as she shut her eyes tight. (A/N: le typical Yui who doesn't know how to run out of harms way. Hue)
The wolf's outstretched arms were expecting to grab the small girl's frame, only to land back onto the muddy ground.
The annoyed beast turned around to find the girl in the arms of Ayato Sakamaki, the vampire he needed to bring back to Cordelia.
His annoyed snarl was enough to make Yui scream again as the large wolf pounced towards them yet again, only to fail miserably.
His rage was starting to get evident as his attacks started getting reckless and clumsy.
Subaru frowned as he managed to find an opening for him to attack.
The albino stepped forward swiftly as a bright silver shined under the moonlight. The large beast let out a combination between a growl and a whimper as dark crimson liquid splattered across the ground.
"I'm sorry." The youngest Sakamaki whispered as the silver knife was dug deeper into the wolf.
A sizzling sound was made as the large beast collapsed, gasping for air.
Cordelia seemed to scream in anger from the blurry vision of the wolf's eyes.
What in the world was going on?
The Sakamaki brothers seemed to managed to get Cordelia and his brother to back off.
Reiji Sakamaki, the dark-haired vampire walked over, his red eyes staring down at the wolf.
The USB drive was in his hand.
(Y/N)'s currently red eyes widened. He didn't want his memories back yet. Not at a time like this.
Yes, he wanted answers. But this wasn't the time to get it all back at once.
With all the strength he could master, the large beast snapped at the vampire, catching him off-guard and making him teleport a safe distance away from the wolf.
The silver-furred wolf huffed as he stood up on wobbly legs and ran over to Cordelia who was cornered. Pushing everyone out of the way, he got to the purplenette.
The female, getting the message that they needed to retreat, hurriedly got onto the back of the wolf and sat on the valve. She grabbed onto his pelt tightly as the wolf ran off as quickly as possible.
The bright liquid still pumped through his veins, making him run faster than ever even with an injury.
His weakening body had him collapsing near the outskirts of the forest where Cordelia got off of his back with a guilt stricken face as she squatted in front of him, her hand combing through his fur.
She forced a smile at him as she pulled the knife out from his chest in one swift motion, making him howl loudly as a sharp pain seared through his entire body all at once.
"You're safe with me (Y/N), so don't worry, just sleep for as long as you want."
