"Mike, stop being an asshole to dad." I was woken up by Vic's voice through my phone. I opened my eyes. His phone was no longer on the desk. I smiled. He took me to bed with him last night. I half expected him to hang up and pretend his phone died or something. But here he was.

"You're an asshole to him." Mike was standing in front of his brother. Vic had his face in his hands as he sat on the edge of his bed.

"That's different. I'm an adult. I know things that dad wouldn't dream of telling you."

"Like what? Give me one example."

"I'm not giving you a reason to hate him. Mike....you could have a relationship with him that I never had." I noticed Vic had a long sleeve button up on. That's a big contrast to him being shirtless the other night. But he didn't want his brother to know.

"Oh yeah. What about your little boyfriend? The freak with a germ problem." I sat up at the mention of me. I think I could decipher who the 'freak' is. Vic sighed.

"Kellin is not a freak. He has a block and we're working through it." He was trying to explain. Mike scoffed.

"And fucking him is going to cure that?"

"I'm not fucking him! I wouldn't take advantage of him like that." Vic was standing up now.

"Then what's in it for you."

"The satisfaction of helping someone." Mike started laughing. "Hey. At least I'm not fucking a new girl everyday. Why can't you just settle down with someone?"

"Maybe I'm just taking after dad." Mike walked out of the room. Vic fell back down on his bed. I pretended to be asleep as he looked at the phone. He sighed.

"I know you're awake, Kellin." I opened my eyes. He looked miserable right now.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to listen in." I held the covers closer to me. I could feel the fabric of Vic's scarf mixed between the sheets.

"No. It's fine." I was waiting for him to speak. In the meantime, I was looking over his body. He was completely tensed. "We have other siblings." He mumbled it. It seemed like something he really didn't like talking about. "Mike is my only full sibling. I have four others that are our half siblings. And one that he's still on the fence because the lady hasn't gotten a paternity test."

"Do you like them?" I hesitantly asked. He turned on his side to look at me.

"I only see them on holidays. I don't really know." He drifted off into thought. I was watching him pick at his sheets. "Christmas is coming up and I don't even know what I'm going to do. Mike is being a pain in the ass about it. He's rebelling. And I just realized that you probably don't want to hear about this." I sat up quickly.

"No. I do. I want to hear about it. I want to help you through this." I felt a blush heating up my cheeks. I saw the flash of a quick smile. "So how many sisters do you have?"

"Surprisingly, none. That I know of, at least. There all boys. And all complete assholes."

"How do you know? You said you don't really know them." He laughed.

"Touché. But at least one of them has to be an asshole, right?" He offered the joke. I itched at the dry skin on my hands. "Tell me about your family. How many siblings do you have?" I began to itch harder as I thought about my answer.

"I have an older sister and two you-Shit!" I quickly covered my hand from view.

"Kell, you okay?" I could feel the blood pumping through the cut I made. It had been so itchy.
