Even though I may fade into the wind, and disappear in the dark I know that you will always have my heart.
Through the pain and through the sorrow I still smile my brightest smile. I am used to my demons so I let them stay a while.
You were once there but just like me you faded. I found you in the dark. I was happy that you waited.
Soon we will disappear into the night. Someday there will be a place for the broken in the light.
We waited together in the darkened abyss. holding hands to get through this. We dried each other's tears and defended one another from our fears.
One day we will no longer be faded. We sat in the abyss together and waited. We might soon find someone to lead us to the light. But since it's just us two we stick together and fight.
