Hiding

  Why are am I hiding behind a mask of happiness? I do it so that I don't have to show you my pain. I do it because that's how you see me at my best. I use this mask to shield you from sorrow. If I show you my sadness your happiness will be stained.
   Why do I hide behind a mask of laughter? I do it so that you can see me in joy and not sorrow. I because that's how you see me in a happy satire. I use this mask to make sure you laugh with us to. If I show you my mirth it will ruin your happily ever after.
  Why do I hide behind a mask of color? I do it so that yours don't fade. I do it so that we don't drain eachother. I use this mask to protect you from the darkness. If I show you my faded colors you will fade with me into blackness
   Why do I hide behind a mask of life? I do it so yours doesn't get taken away. I do it so you don't need to see how dead I am and how stiff. I use this mask so you don't slowly die like I did. So you will feel this pain hearing the farewell I bid.
