"You'll still visit, right?"

"Of course we'll still visit, baby girl"

"And you gonna call every day?"

"You'll get sick of my voice"

"... I'll miss you"

"Oh, Lolo, come here, I'll miss you more"

Lauren sobbed and I felt my heart being shattered in a million of tiny little pieces.

I kissed the top of the head of dark hair leaning on my chest and held the smaller body closer to my own, taking long deep breaths in a desperate attempt of keeping my tears at by.

"I'll miss you, Lise" I closed my eyes and tightened my arms.

"Oh, honey... I'll miss you too, all of you monkeys, so much..."

"... And remember, no matter what, I'm only a call away. Also, if anything ever happens, my apartment might not be huge or anything, but there will always be a place for you guys in there, alright?" I heard Christina's voice cracking not far away from me and then a raspy, teary muffled chuckler.

"You know I'm your older sibling, not the other way around, right?"

"Still..." At the sound of my older sister losing her battle against her tears I forced my eyes open, and took a look around the heartbreaking scene around me.

Katherine and Amy where hugging Joey and Alex tightly, kissing their cheeks and giggling at the youngest attempts of making them stop crying. Christina was trying to sob silently on Mike's shoulder while Dani was on his other arm, her little arms around his neck and her face hiding on his neck. Lauren was sobbing sadly clinging to an also crying Christian, big Nick rubbing both of their backs in an attempt of comfort them and little Nick was silently crying in my chest while Nathan kept an comforting hand on my back and the other rubbing Nick's shoulders.

Then the dread moment came and it was time for them to go inside the plane.

Mike was the first one to gather enough strength and gently pushed Christina away from his body. He wiped away her tears with his thumb and leaned down to kiss the top of her head. While doing so, his eyes shot up and met my own. He nodded at me and I nodded back, not being able to hold back the tear that ran down my face.

"Hey, Nicky" I whispered, pushing my birthday twin a little away from my body. He barely had to look up to meet my eyes anymore and it always hurt me to realize how fast my siblings are growing up. All of them. "You have to go now buddy. Promise me you'll help Mike to take care of everything, okay? And please, talk Alex out of growing a beard, will you?"

"But... Lisa, beards are cool!" My little brother protested and I brought my hands up to wipe away the tears from the 11 year old's cheek.

"I love you, Nicky. Please, never forget that and take care, alright?"

"You too Lise" He smiled at me and then his gaze turned to Nathan, his face hardening in a 'stern' look. I chuckled silently. "And Nathan, you take care of my sisters, okay? Because if you don't, I swear I'll get on a plane and hurt you, wherever you are"

"Don't worry buddy, I believe in you" Nathan nodded, trying to keep a serious face. Nick nodded back and then, he smiled, stepping forwards to wrap his arms around my boyfriend. "I'll miss you too, Nick"

I left my little brother and boyfriend to have their little moment when I saw Alex walking my way. We already had said our goodbyes, but he wrapped his arms around me once again and I smiled into his neck, hugging him back just as tightly.
