Ian pulled out some baseball caps, beanies, and a half of a box of different styled Vanz. His eyes grew wide at the collection. "You really like Vanz." He stated setting them neatly beside her dresser in the closet. Gabi nodded and folded her shirts. She took a deep breath. "W-what's really w-wrong with y-your house?" She asked with a tremendous amount of skepticism.

Ian placed his forehead on the closet door and refused to look at her. "Gabs-"
"Tell me."

Ian got tense and grabbed his backpack. "I'm gonna go." He said angrily while looking at Gabi side-eyed. She saw tears swelling up and looked down. "Ian I-I'm s-orry." She said quietly. Ian dropped the backpack and hugged her. She felt her entire face and neck get red. She hesitated, but wrapped her arms around him. She wasn't sure, but it felt like a hot tear drop raced down her back and stopped at her right shoulder blade.

The two parted from the hug and Ian wiped his eyes. Those dark, amber eyes full of wonder were now pale and grieving. He sniffed twice and continued helping unpack. Gabi slipped him a note. "Keep this for when you feel sad: You're the greatest person I've met. So far you've stuck up for me, accepted my condition, and even gave suggestions on how to make it better. If that's not a great friend then...I don't know what is. I hope we'll be friends forever."

Ian sniffed and smiled, revealing his concave dimples that never made their existence known. Gabi's heart fluttered, but she smiled back and pulled out some empty diaries. Ian was still wiping his face when he noticed them. "How come you haven't written in them?" He asked with a still croaky voice.

Gabi shrugged. "Nothing t-to write ab-out." She said. Ian picked up the spider web one. "Well how about I keep this one?" He asked. Gabi nodded and once again Ian's adumbrate dimples shown as he smiled widely.
