Part 6: Chosing Sides, Then A Date

Chapter 12: Mom or Dad?

So, the day after my great date yesterday, my mom told me that I have to chose wither to live with my mom or dad. Considering it was 9:00 in the morning and I was still half asleep, I didn't really want to chose a side right then and there. So my mom said that I had until the end of the day to chose...'HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?' I thought to myself.

The whole entire day, I was thinking about who I was going to pick to live with. Now I know I might be over reacting but, I can't chose a side. I was freaking out because I didn't want to make the wrong decision. If I go live with my dad, then I have to move back to California. I mean I wouldn't mind moving back to California, but I just made new friends and I have a boy friend, I can't do that to Keith. I mean, my dad is great and all, but I don't want to leave Indiana. On the other hand, if I stay with my mom, I have a better chance of a better life. So, I think I have made up my mind.

Later that day my mom sat down with me and asked me who I chose. I said her (mom) because I wanted to spend more time with everyone that I am friends with and enjoy my new life.

Chapter 13: Second Date

So, after my talk with my mom, Keith texted me this:
"Hey babe, its me! Wanna go to the movies tonight? We can go to dinner then the movie? Call me, love, Keith!"
After getting the text I called him and we planned our date. Since Keith is in 10th grade and is 16, he has his drivers license, so he can drive. I on the other hand am in 9th grade and I am 15 and has my learners permit.

Keith and I decided to go to Friendly's for dinner then go to see "Beauty and the Beast." I had an hour and a half to get ready. After getting taking a shower and getting my outfit on, I did my makeup and my hair, by that time, I had ten minutes until he picked me up. When Keith got to my house, I opened the door and he said that I "looked beautiful," and then he kissed my cheek and hugged me. I smiled so big. It was such a great beginning to our date. After picking me up, went to the mall and went to Friendly's. He got us a table and we sat across from each other. 

After dinner we walked around the mall, since we had an hour until our movie. Keith was really happy to be with me. 

Before we went to the ticket booth to get our tickets, we sat down and made out for five minutes. I could feel the vibe of how happy Keith was with me, plus, he kept telling me that he loved me, over and over and over again. I was counting every time he said he loved me, he said it like fifty times in three hours. 

After getting our tickets, we got a large popcorn to split, and two large Dr. Peppers. Then we went to the theater and sat down in our seats.  The movie started and Keith put his arm around me. 

After the movie ended, we walked around the mall again, since it was only 8:30, and the mall closed at 11:00. We walked around for about an hour afterwords, then we went to his car. Keith held my hand proudly, as he was walking with me to his car. We got in and he drove to my house.
